For nearly a decade, HAMILTON at New York’s Richard Rodgers Theatre, with its innovative mix of history and hip-hop, has remained “The Room Where It Happens” on Broadway. The groundbreaking Lin-Manuel Miranda production, based on Ron Chernow’s 2004 biography of founding father Alexander Hamilton, has gripped theatergoers since its 2015 debut. Immediately hailed as another milestone achievement by Miranda, who previously won a Tony Award and a Grammy for his first musical, In The Heights, HAMILTON became the most-nominated production in Tony Awards’ history and won 11 of its 16 contests, the second-largest haul in the ceremony's history. Among many other accolades, the musical earned a Pulitzer Prize in Drama, two Emmys for the stage film released on Disney+ in 2020, and a Grammy for the 2015 original Broadway cast recording, which peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and became the first Broadway cast album to reach Diamond certification by the RIAA in 2023. While it certainly made Lin-Manuel Miranda as much of a household name as the man behind his titular role, HAMILTON also launched the careers of his castmates, including Leslie Odom, Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, Renée Elise Goldsberry as Angelica Schuyler, Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson and Anthony Ramos as John Laurens/Philip Hamilton.

Unparalleled and exceptional! The absolute best of the best Broadway show I have ever seen in my life. We sat 4 rows back from the stage.
I was not aware that center orchestra row w had an obstructed view of the upper portion of the stage.
We didn't like it at all! Way over hyped!!! We left before it was over.
The absolute best show ever! Loved the theatre! Can't say enough about this experience! Definite bucket list experience was checked off!!!!
Amazing and very talented cast. Great performance. Never a dull moment.
Sitting in the orchestra section was perfect! Loved the singing and performances of the actors. It actually lived up to the hype!
Hamilton is an excellent show in every respect. The writing, casting, staging, acting, dancing, everything was well done. The amount of history, so significant to the birth of our democracy, that is woven into the story and its telling is truly impressive.
Awesome! As good as the first time. Want to go back again! Read Lin’s book before you go for deeper insight into the background and making of the show.
Brilliant show, amazing cast, must see. Lives up to all the hype.
The entire show was fantastic! Dancing and singing and the costumes were authentic!
Wonderful, clever and exhilarating. Worth the trip to NY from Australia!
Being my first-ever Broadway show, and spending $260+ on the tickets, I had high expectations from the show but my expectations hadn't seen the bar that was set this high. Hamilton is a work of genius, and EVERY case-member deserved the 2-minute standing ovation that the entire theatre gave. You'll be back. Soon you'll see ;)
No bad seats in the house. Had upper balcony and still loved it. So creative. A whole new appreciation for the early days of our country. Best . Show . Ever
The bathroom situation is terrible at Richard Rogers Theatre. My wife had to go down 3 flights of stairs at intermission and could not get back in time to be seated.
Stunning musical with a modern slant. The ensemble cast were excellent, with a superb cameo from King George. A must see.
Never seen a better musical than this one. Truly blew our minds and exceeded (extremely) high expectations!
Still on a high! The cast gave it their all. This American tale told in such an American way should make us ALL proud to be an American.
I expected to enjoy Hamilton. But I was absolutely blown away by it. I'm honestly stunned at how much of an impression the show made on me. Wow.
This was the best theatre experience I’ve ever had. The cast were so amazing. I was worried being a big fan of the original cast that it would not live up to my expectations but wow! It surpassed my expectations. what a great cast and crew. Started on time and ended on time. 10/10 best show I’ve ever gone to in my life! I recommend everyone go see it to feel the passion left on that stage.
