With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.
Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.
With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.
FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.
FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.
FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

Excellent musicians, enjoyed the drum solo, would see them again
Foreigner put on a spectacular show, every song was once a big hit, Kelly’s enthusiasm was infectious, the crowd was into it all through the show, a great performance, it’s too bad they will not be touring much in the future. First saw them in 1977, and now in 2024, it’s been a hell of a ride.
I got Anthony Della Croce’s pick from him after he played Brian MacLeod’s guitar. Kelly Hansen of Foreigner showed off my guitar pick collection to the crowd and then I got four picks from Foreigner. Had a blast!!
Tremendous show from start to finish ! This band still can rock like the best of the bands from their era . The band was tight and on the mark all night every member of the band rocked it out . The sound was as good as any concert we’ve ever been to . This may be a farewell tour but the voices and performance do not suggest it’s time to hang up the gear. Final thought : follow them down the road to catch another gig !
Sound was great! Foreigner sounds great and were very entertaining. Took me back to my youth with all the great songs. Grey Eagle event centre is a great venue for watching all these great bands.
Foreigner was fantastic!!! Interacted with the crowd, the music was great, of course… Would definitely recommend to go see them… And I know it was a farewell Canada tour but if they do decide to come and see us again, I would definitely go !! And the price of the ticket was very reasonable… Go see them !!!
the headpins were great their lead singer sure could belt out the lyrics! foreigner was fantastic i saw them in spokane last year & the dedicated concert venue with giant screens & light show was better but they did what they could in an arena i an dissapointed and annoyed with ticketmaster changing my seat selection a few weeks after i bought my seats. i am disabled & stairs are very difficult thats why i bought seats right at the end of the tunnel then they moved me up 6 rows middle seats and no railing to hold onto for 3 rows -the worker there tried to find easy access seats for me but as it was sold out nothing helped. i will know better next time they want to move me.
We had a great time. First time at this venue and we really liked it, more closed in and somewhat intimate. So happy we went, they sounded as if it was the 90's again.
Outstanding concert, full of good vibes. The group fantastic as expected. They played all their great songs and their energy was contagious. Amazing experience overall and a true piece of history!!!
Foreigner sounded **amazing,** and were a pleasure to see in person. They played all the songs I hoped to hear. My only complaint was their light show. I am a frequent concert goer, and I have to say, this was blinding and cheap. I had to look away or close my eyes several times, as the lights were *right* in my eyes at the back of the stadium. I think for such a great, classic band, they could do much better - and not blind their fans!
My husband agrees....this was the best concert we have ever seen. We have never been to the Abbotsford Arena before and we were pleased with everything.....plenty of open venues to get a drink or a bite to eat with no big line ups. Seats were comfortable, although a little close together between the aisles. The band! Wow....Foreigner blew us away. They played to the audience making eye contact with people, and every single song was a hit. There were people singing along all night long. It was fabulous, I can't say enough. I know it was their farewell tour, but we were so impressed, should they show up again we will definitely be buying tickets. I was also impressed with them when they brought the choir out and explained how they do that in every city they are playing at. What a great way to give back. I just can't say enough about the evening. Thank you for the reasonable prices, and an evening to remember for years to come.
Foreigner did amazing, they had great energy and put on one hell of a show!
Awesome Fabulous..the boys did not disappoint..I hope to see them again one day...the certainly rocked the house..
Great band, great warmup band. So many memories enjoyed again. Thans for what you do so well!
The concert that Foreigner put on conjured emotions from my teenager years. The performance was solid and entertaining with messages of self love and love for one another. This is timely considering the state of the world. They also brought in a high school choir that sang with Foreigner on the song "I Want To Know What Love Is."They sang with such joy and enthusiasm. It clearly will be the highlight of their year. It was very touching! I recommend those who haven't seen this concert yet to do so before their tour is finished. Thank you for a very entertaining experience!
The show was a lot of fun and the music excellent. They were very entertaining and they sounded if not better than the original song.
Great show! Superb performance by artists and behind scenes stage crew with all the high energy! Considering it’s their Farewell Tour and they’ve been performing over five decades - they still sound like they have years to go! Loved the event! Worth every minute! One thing I wish bands didn’t do is get the audience singing - we’re paying to hear the band🎤🎸🎶
I’ve seen The Rolling Stones, U2, Van Halen and they were good concerts but Foreigner made me feel like I was 20 again; that’s what makes it a Great concert. I brought my younger sisters who thought they weren’t familiar with their music but as soon as Foreigner started to play they knew every song.
Go it’s their farewell tour. They played all their classics. They made it into the R&R HoF. Just great performance in every way. Love it!
