Becky, our guide was so knowledgeable! We really enjoyed the experience.
Casey did an awesome job of sharing Chicago history as she narrated our tour. Very fun and interesting trip!
This was a very enjoyable cruise down the Chicago river. The guide (shame on me for forgetting her name - she's the one that sings) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to. I learned a fair bit about Chicago in general during the tour. It was a bit warm sitting on the deck, so just keep that in mind if it's a hot day. There is an air conditioned lower deck, but you're not going to get any good views of the architecture down there.
Very nice cruise to get to see Chicago's river side. Extremely knowledgeable guide. Seating on the second floor deck provided awesome views.
We did the architectural river tour on Memorial Day weekend. We took friends from California and were all surprised at how wonderful tour and informed the guide was. We all raved about the experience will do it again.
Although our tour ended up being on a somewhat rainy and chilly day, our tour guide was incredibly informative and clearly explained every detail of literally every building along the river!! Our group of 7 enjoyed it tremendously. We booked way ahead of time, so we were unable to make changes due to weather conditions. All in all we all enjoyed it very very much sipping a warm coffee from the very equipped bar on the boat.
We loved our time on the Architecture tour! Our guide Becky was outstanding and so informative. She really made the experience better than we could have imagined!! Highly recommend this tour for the quintessential Chicago experience!
We’ve gone on this tour multiple times and it’s always fun. We recommend this to anyone going to Chicago
The tour was marvelous - not least becuse of the competent and professional guidance.
Great tour of Chicago’s inner city architectural history. Truly fascinating!
Tour of Chicago buildings and their architectural details on the river was an amazing experience and highly recommended for anyone wanting to know the history of some of the great buildings located in the downtown historical core. Marc our guide was excellent and he extremely knowledgeable
No more to tell You must do it !!! Great experience
Unfortunately we had some rain during our tour so had to sit inside during the majority of the tour. It was near impossible to hear the tour guide inside so we lost a good amount of the value of the tour and we were unable to see the buildings from inside as well. This is definitely something you want to do when it's not raining so you can sit upstairs with the guide and see the buildings.
We had a great time, start to finish. Boarding was easy, the seats were comfy, and our Docent conducting the tour was so knowledgeable and had many great anecdotes and info re the architecture of the magnificent buildings we were seeing. This is a must do on any visit to Chicago, I would love to do the evening cruise should I ever return.
Best boat tour in Chicago by far. The narrative by the guide for the trip was excellent and knew his architecture. Must do when visiting this fabulous city.
This cruise turned out to easily meet our expectations and would recommend it to anyone. Our “host/guide” was quite knowledgable and entertains. A high lite of our trip.
This tour was our favorite part of Visiting Chicago!! The main reason was definitely our docent, Constance! She was so knowledgeable - sharing all the history with great wit and personality!!! She made a beautiful ride even better!!! Five star for sure!
The tour was great but what made it the best tour ever was the guide, her knowledge of Chicago and its architecture were second to none. Superb
Fabulous. The docent, whose name I forget, was experienced and full of relevant facts and info about the buildings and city history. We were with visitors from Germany who live in the Rhine, and they were amazed at the beauty and the history of the river and it’s architecture. Made me very proud to be a Chicagoan.
