About

50 Years of Dark Side

Brit Floyd returns to the stage in 2023 to perform a brand-new production celebrating 50 years of the ground-breaking and iconic musical masterpiece The Dark Side of the Moon. The show will feature classic tracks from the album such as Time, Money, Us and Them and The Great Gig in the Sky.

The 2 and a half hours plus set list will also include other highlights from Pink Floyd's magnificent catalogue of albums, including tracks from The Wall, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Division Bell, Medal and much more.

Taking to the stage to perform note for note renditions of all these classic Pink Floyd tracks will be the band of musicians that audiences have become familiar with worldwide over the years, featuring long time guitarist/vocalist and musical director Damian Darlington, who has played over 2500 Pink Floyd music related concerts throughout his career.

The band will also feature Ian Cattell, Edo Scordo, Eva Avila and all the other expert musicians that have joined the ranks of Brit Floyd over the course of the last decade.

Having performed over 1,000 shows since its launch in Liverpool, England in January 2011, Brit Floyd have circled the world, sold out tours across Europe, North America, South America and the Middle East, and performed concerts at some of the world's greatest venues, including London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall; the awe inspiring Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado; the historic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, and 'The Showplace of the Nation', NYC's Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

The Brit Floyd show has become a phenomenon, widely regarded as the world's greatest rock tribute show. Faithfully recreating the scale and pomp of the final 1994 Pink Floyd tour, complete with a stunning light show, iconic circular screen, lasers, inflatables and theatrics.

    A first-rate performance

by Always a great show! on 5/24/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

We never miss Brit Floyd when they come to town. One of my favorites. As much of a light show as it is a concert. Music and graphics are first rate.

    Brit Floyd is Amazing!

by Joe on 5/22/24The Rose Music Center at The Heights - Huber Heights

Brit Floyd sounds amazingly close to the studio cuts. They are great musicians. This is not the first time I saw them so I know they can sing too. I did feel like the sound mixing for the vocals, not the singing itself, was not quite right. There were a few songs earlier in the show that I could not understand the lyrics.

    What a Show!!

by Bobby D on 5/22/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

This was my first time to see Brit Floyd after hearing great reviews from several of my longtime friends. This band is truly incredible and are serious about their craft to recreate the recordings as close to the originals as possible - and they have succeeded! I highly recommend this band to anyone that enjoys Pink Floyd. It is great to have a group keeping Pink Floyd live music available to the fans. I plan to see them at every opportunity in the future.

    Absolutely Amazing!

    by Jason R. on 5/21/24

I originally heard about Brit Floyd when I saw them on PBS as one of those pledge drive shows to make the channel appealing to donors. They were really good. Earlier this year, I saw an advertisement online saying they were coming to Columbia, South Carolina near me. My wife and I are both huge Pink Floyd fans so I told her about Brit Floyd. She agreed to see them so we bought tickets as part of our wedding anniversary celebration. We saw them April 13, 2024 and having seen the real Pink Floyd in concert, I can say with 100% honesty you get more than your money's worth with a Brit Floyd show. 1. The show was well over 2 and a half hours. 2. The musicianship and vocals are top notch. 3. They played from more albums than you would see at a real Floyd concert. 4. The attention to detail was excruciatingly good. They played concert versions the typical way you would hear Floyd do it and when they covered album tracks....note for note...every instrument, vocals and beat! Eva Avila nails the Great Gig In The Sky so well, that you'd think it was Clare Torry herself. I didn't get to see the real Floyd play Dogs from the album Animals, but Brit Floyd covered the whole 17 plus minute version from the album and it was incredible....what an understatement! Then there was the show stopping Comfortably Numb. Both leads tool turns nailing solo 1 and 2. Damian got the outro solo number 2 and played with all the feel and precision of David Gilmour's concert versions. Let's not forget about the sound crew and light show. Top notch. Just like a real Pink Floyd concert. With the band officially retired after the passing of Richard Wright, Brit Floyd makes all other Floyd tribute bands seem like mediocre sideshow garage bands. Get your tickets....we are going to see them again next year!

My sixth time seeing Britt Floyd. Just when you think they can’t get any better, this band astounds. Thank you Britt Floyd for continuing to bring live, terrific music to the Pink Floyd fans! See you next year, unless you return before (for which I would be very happy!).

    Awesome Show

by Crazy Mike on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

We love Brit Floyd otherwise we wouldn't have got to see them 19 times since 2015. Things just keep getting better as far as the lights and sound. We miss the backdrop screen, but appreciate the newer advanced lighting system that is in place now. Last year they improved their sound but it was a bit over bearing on the too loud side. Now our first of maybe three we will see this year At the PNC Pavilion Center In Cincinnati. when they were balancing the sound system while we were waiting to the the meet and greet the bass was way too over bearing and when they were preforming the over driving of the bass muffled the voices, which are very good except when you can't hear the vocals over the music. We always enjoyed the pleasantness of seeing Brit Floyd because of the balance of the sound, now for some reason they are blowing us out with too much sound? Don't ruin a good thing. You guys are making a name for yourselves that will be around for a long time just like your mentors Pink Floyd.

    Brit Floyd

by Kycallie on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

This was the second time I have seen Brit Floyd. This was the worst concert I have ever been to. What a waste of money. The music was too loud, The speakers were too close to my seat. It hurt my ears. I left the concert 5 minutes into the show. I watched the show on the screen outside in the concession area. The show didn’t get any better. The music that was performed was not familiar to me, or to the other folks I went to the concert with. We all agree that the last few songs that the band performed were familiar. The songs they performed the other hour and a half were not good.

    A Great Time!

by Jaybo on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

I enjoy the music and the dense layers Pink Floyd wrote. Brit Floyd recreates the music perfectly. Pink Floyd was known for great sounding music and concert sound. The sound system for Brit Floyd SOUNDED great. The bass had punch, the vocals were clear, and you could hear every instrument in the mix. Part way through the second half, it seems like they turned up the volume and there was some added distortion, but overall, it was a GREAT concert. I'm looking forward to next year.

    My least favorite to date.

by Rosemary on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

This was our fourth Britt Floyd and I felt the venue was simply too big. The graphics were lost in that small circle vs. previous backdrops. The musicians are amazing but this crowd didn’t come to life until the second half of the performance when all the “old school “ music was performed. We actually left early because the overhead fans were simply too much and we were super uncomfortable. (So cold!)

    Brit Floyd!

    by DavidLynch1976 on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

I have loved Pink Floyd since I was a teenager back in the 60s and 70s. I never got to see them in concert. But about 11 years ago I discovered Brit Floyd covering Pink Floyd music. After my first concert I was a total fan. I have seen them 12 times now. I've been to New York City (1), Cincinnati (3), Louisville (3), Pittsburgh (2), Waukegan (1), Indianapolis (1) and Huntington WV (1). Every concert is always great! I am looking forward to number 13 next year! If you are a Pink Floyd fan you must see Brit Floyd in concert. It's not about them, the show is truly about experiencing "Pink Floyd". They are talented and entertaining beyond words! Go as soon as you can! I promise you will not be disappointed. Shine On!

We have seen Brit Floyd twice at PNC Pavilion and both times the band has been fantastic. A three hour show of both great music and great effects. I would highly recommend seeing this band!

Not my first show but it was my last ever

by Whipper on 5/21/24PNC PAVILION - Cincinnati

I have seen Brit Floyd several times in the past. However, I had three problems with this show, two of which were with Brit Floyd. I was in the eighth row, close but not exactly in the front. First of all, the music was way too loud. I wear hearing aids and I turned them down to the first level which is the lowest. The music still hurt my ears. Second, the stage lights were frequently flashing in my eyes. I was not the performer and they needed to be on the performers, not on me. This I found quite irritating! The third complaint I had was with the performance venue. It was a warm night, but the overhead fans blew cold air over me and I was soon chilled. I left at the intermission and have no intention of going back to see the band again. I will attend this performance venue again but will be sure to take a jacket.
