Great time, a very fun and interactive show.

by ET on 4/13/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

We were asked to be part of the show. The show had us laughing the whole time. The staff and crew were all nice and amazing. Highly recommend anyone to go see them.

    Disappointing

by Cezanne on 4/12/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

I went to Blue Man Group with my family in order for all to experience a live show. I did not think a live show should have so much recorded or non-live action. The use of huge simulated iPhones as part of show time was inappropriate as was the back room activity viewable on a screen on stage. It was like watching a tv.

    Same ole

by Todd on 4/12/22Briar Street Theatre - Chicago

Great show, but it hasn’t changed much over the last 15 years.

Needs more music and less skits….

by Benny on 4/11/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

I went into the event only knowing the blue man group was known for music/paint and great visuals…..I was disappointed that the music portion was a short aspect of the show and instead it has a lot of skit ‘comedy’. I would not pay more then $20 for the show I saw.

    Blue Man Group

by TomB on 4/11/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

Have seen Blue Man Group several times but this was the first time I got to see it at the Charles Playhouse. Always a good show over all these years. Always enjoyable.

    Great first time!

    by c. D. on 4/10/22

Definitely recommend to bringyour kids if possible and if not then it's great for the couple. Will definitely go again in the future . You need to be vaccinated and show proof to enter. I did not see this clearly stated anywhere when purchasing . Please make this CLEARLY VISABLE.

    Less Than Expected

by JR on 4/8/22Briar Street Theatre - Chicago

We saw the show 10 years ago and really enjoyed it. We took out of town family to the show over this past weekend and our reactions (or lack thereof) spoke volumes. No one commented about it after the show - or the rest of the weekend. The show had too much “down time” - the guys wandering the aisles in slow motion looking for volunteers, etc. The show “started” with a ten minute scrolling message (10 of 90 minutes) to apparently warm up the crowd. I caught members of our group glancing at their watches throughout the show. Probably a good show for kids but adults were getting bored. A pricey way to entertain the kids tho at $80/ticket! Generally disappointed. We’ll find other ways to entertain visiting friends and family in the future.

    Awesome show

by Jay on 4/5/22Briar Street Theatre - Chicago

Amazing show! I just find it a little contradictory that the blue men embarrassed the late attendees even though they were about 15 minutes late themselves to start the show lol. And a bit too much audience participation can take you out of the show if you're nervous about being selected. Other than that it was awesome!

    Ah-maze-ing!!!

by Hheathahh on 4/5/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

From start to end, I loved every minute of the show. The lights, the performances, and especially the audience interaction. Years I have waited to go see this show, but it will not be years for me to return!

Great show which was highly entertaining for all ages. Small theater made for a perfect venue.

    Interaction all the time.

by Awesome :) on 4/5/22Astor Place Theatre - New York

The 3 guys are unbelievable funny...without saying a word hahaha. Off Broadway shows are as good as Broadway. Totally recommend.

    Fun for all ages

by BB on 4/3/22Briar Street Theatre - Chicago

Professional venue, took care to check vaccination status of all, everyone masked. The Blue Man Group was a lot of fun. Loved the multitude of drums and of course the band up above. Something about drumming that resonates with everyone. Way fun interaction with the audience. Blue Man group was a good way to kick off our Chicago weekend. Appropriate show for all ages.

    Great show

The show is funny, weird and really cool all at the same time. We had so much fun!!!

Good show for kids and teens

by David on 3/31/22Astor Place Theatre - New York

As an adult I was disappointed. Their active show (loud music, flashing lights, videos, drumming, splashing, squirting, throwing, etc) may keep a pre-teen or teen entertained; however, I thought the segments of the show (different comedy sketches) were really juvenile. I would not attend again.

    Okay

by VTHill on 3/29/22Charles Playhouse - Boston

It was interesting and some impressive talent moments while other moments were simply not entertaining. Perhaps most appropriate for adolescent boys in terms of humor.

    Didn't love it

by Kiria on 3/29/22Astor Place Theatre - New York

I am not sure if I was having higher expectations but I didn't love it. Too silly for me, however, my husband loved it and that was my whole purpose: to celebrate his birthday.

    Good as always

by Stephanie on 3/28/22Briar Street Theatre - Chicago

I have Seen it three times over the last 20 years. The only change is no more toilet paper. Would be nice to revamp the show to keep it fresh and new but it was my daughters first time seeing it so she enjoyed it
