Each band started on time. Great involvement with the audience. Enjoyed every minute of it and can’t wait to go back next year. Some bands I never heard of but after hearing them perform made me listen to them more. Awesome night it was
It was a pertty good show but not sur I agree with the supporting lineup. They were all cool if that's your thing. BB rocked and were worth the floor price. 3rd row. BBV playing guitar in the background was AWSOME!
98Rockfest is always a great time with lots of great bands. I like that you can see this many bands in one day in Tampa. Amalie Arena seating works well as does the floor arrangement for the younger crowd. Concessions should stay open until halfway through the last band instead of before they start. Otherwise very well run and as I said, always fun.
First I will say that Dorothy sounded REALLY good and I’m glad I made it in time to catch her set on the FREE stage outside. Now once we got inside the arena the sound was HORRIBLE for all bands leading up to Falling In Reverse.. Did they bring their own sound people?? Because as soon as they hit the stage sound improved and they were AMAZING! Breaking Benjamin finished the night with HORRIBLE sound again..
We all drove down from South Carolina looking forward to seeing Breaking Benjamin in concert. The other bands were great but damn wasn’t Breaking Benjamin off the charts. We had such a fantastic time.
The line up was amazing and the light show was beautiful the only complaint I have is the sound was messed up during the “ the pretty reckless “ set and sounded like the walls where screaming and it was hard to hear her voice, I’m the future I would make it more clear where to find earplugs it took a while to find guest services and get earplugs
I loved it , all great artist, great entertainment , well worth it long concert and I parked really close . Everybody behaved a plus ,no problem .
Enjoyment was had by young and old all for the love of amazing music.

Breaking Benjamin was great, but other bands terrible. Was my last 98rockfest
Always satisfied with attending 98Rockfest. Parking was easy, getting in was easy…making it to the front of the floor was a challenge…but guess what…we made it! It wasn’t hot inside at all this year! Falling In Reverse killed it…Breaking Ben is always welcomed. Only complaint I have is that the sound isn’t as good as it could be. 🤘🏽
Took the teenagers to their first concert. Only complaint is that up in the higher sections, the singing is distorted & we could basically only hear the music the first half of the concert..none of the lyrics. Luckily it got better halfway through. Probably won't come to this arena again.
Always wanted to go to a Rock Fest finally got the chance … it was a great time worth the money!
Excellent times allotted for each band. Great band mix. Prefect venue. Can’t wait for next year.

A great concert. I missed the pre-event shows some other bands gave, but everything went as I hoped them to be. Bad Wolves was nice, Beartooth smashed it, and The Pretty Reckless was also ok. The main dish, Falling in Reverse and Breaking Benjamin, showed why they're headliners. FIR's presentation was charged with pure energy, and BB played so well that their live music was a piece of art, and they created an special . 4/5 because supporting bands were not overwhelmingly spectacular and had some technical issues, but it worth the time, the drive and the money
It was great and love the venue !! Only issue was on beartooth drums overpowered vocals With pretty reckless constant feedback on guitar and vocals were low on last song also seemed like they were rushed off stage Saw the show in Orlando the next day and all sound issues were fixed and they played the last song that they were not allowed to play in Tampa
The performances themselves were great but the venue is definitely not what it used to be. The VIP package is more expensive for less than what you got in the previous years. They no longer have a smoking area at the arena and youre not allowed to go out on the balcony and come back inside. Once youre in thats it. The food is terrible and ridiculously over priced. All venues are but this one is a bit much.
Only went for Falling in Reverse and took my 13 year old daughter to her very 1st 98rockfest and she absolutely loved it!!! I am disappointed with the lineup this year though but totally worth the money.
I bought tickets to see Dorothy, and it is listed as doors opening at 6pm. They had Dorothy on at 4pm at an outside stage. Extremely disappointed to have missed her. Also, not a great venue for a concert. Don't recommend Amalie Arena for a rock concert.
