  • NBA Allstar game was unorganized and overpriced!

by PMAV on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 1 out of 5

They oversold the event. We had to wait 45 minutes in line just to get into the stadium in the freezing cold. Once we got to the front of the line they told me there was a misprint on our tickets and I needed to go to a different entrance. Mind you I am visibly 8 months pregnant and they have already let my husband in (females/males must separate for security pat downs). I had to hold up the line and throw a fit before they let me in. We paid $500 to attend the game in the lower level. We were stuck behind a stage when there was no verbage or warning letting us know ahead of time. Therefore, we paid $500 to not see the performances and watch the game on the tv screen b/c we could only see half the court. Then security was not controlling the party pass people and they were allowed to stand up and down our aisles losing the rest of any visibilty we had. We are season ticket holders and go to cowboys games all the time. I have not experienced anything like this before. I was very disappointed!!!!!

  • Horrible venue for a basketball game.

by ryfolamfer on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 1 out of 5

You expect to not have the best view when your seats are towards the top, but this venue was especially horrible for a basketball event. As naive as this may sound because this is so widely well-known and expected, this was completely about how much money could be made from the event. Since I was watching more of the game on the jumbo-tron, I literally think I would have had a better time watching it from home. This was the second time I have been to Cowboys Stadium and have absolutely no desire to EVER attend another event there again.

  • Texas All-Star

by NorthTexasJohn on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

I had no problem at all getting into the stadium to being with but once inside traffic was a nightmare, luckily I was one of the smart attendees who purchase parking in advance. Services were very helpful, found my entry point without a hitch, once inside I was able to find my seating immediately, stadium is quiet an eye-sight, amazed by the size of that screen. The view is amazing, cannot wait to see the Super Bowl next year in our neck of the woods.

  • NBA All-Star Game was a Bomb

by StoutFrank on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Disappointed, to many people and very obvious that it was all about money. Will not be attending next year if they decide to push another 80,000 plus people. It was like a cattle round up, but of course it is Texas, I must say I did enjoy the city though, very nice people. Peace out!

It was a very good time. The parking situation was less than ideal. There was a traffic jam that would of made anyone miss the entire All-Star game. Poor planning ruined my Valentine's Day. However there was one positive, I found out my girlfriend went to the game too...with someone I just hired at my company.

  • All Star game was crazy good

by ceasetex on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

This event was awesome. From the time we arrived the Cowboys Stadium looked great at night. Traffic was not too bad, I was able to find parking for $10. When I actually got in, I saw the lights and the big screen. They were breathtaking. The game and half time show were just as good as the view of the stadium. I had a great time overall.

  • Great Great Time!!!

This event was great! You get to see stars let loose and just have fun.

  • Great Stars!!!

by HLMNOLA on 2/19/10Dallas Convention Center - DallasRating: 4 out of 5

This event was good, but there are ways to make it so much better. The media has 30 mins of access to the NBA All-Stars, but the paying fans don't. The NBA needs to design a way to allow the fans to get at least one autograph from a player. This is what the fans really want! This can be easily done by making the fans exit after they receive their autograph. Nevertheless, this was a nice event.

  • Nice Game Great Arena

by HLMNOLA on 2/19/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The Arena was really nice, but too big for a basketball game. Still, I had a great time.

The actual game was so-so. The pregame and halftime entertainment was really amazing.

  • All-Star was awesome but so far away!

by rowemedic on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The game and the experience was fantastic. The only problem that I had was that I could not see the game from my seat. The seat was soooo far away from the court that I had to use the Jumbo-Tron to see the game. I could of done that at my house for free while sitting in a comfortable chair. I would not of had the experience or the memories. Great first time NBA Game.

  • stars, stars, stars!

by queennrein on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

The stadium was amazing! We were in line 30 minutes before the doors opened, it was a little chilly in Texas. Good security, kept a positive outlook on everything. Great the way you were directed to the proper entrance for your seating. Did not have to tour the whole stadium to get to your seat. The screens were amazing! My husband did not need his glasses. Half time and all the interval entertainment was good. We unfortunately had seats behind the platform for the half time show. Usher, Shakira and Alisha Keyes, wow!

  • nba all star game

by sassytexas on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

The game was suprisingly very good, it is usually pretty boring. i am from texas in fact from the dfw area i did not like the venue i thougt it was too big and took away from the intimacy of the game. Loved having it in my back yard, but not at Cowboy Stadium that place is just too big.

  • NBA All-Star Game Disappointment

by HugeMavsFan on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 2 out of 5

Well, other than getting to see Dirk, Jason Kidd and say I've been to JerryWorld, I was disappointed with the majority of the experience. I understand that the weather was out of their control, but they could have opened up sooner to accomodate all of the fans standing in line freezing (yes, I did have a coat, hat and gloves). Once inside and the activities got going, my husband and I were obviously not the type (or race) fan that they were catering to - Usher, Shakira and Alisha Keys were the live entertainment and all of the music playing ahead of time and in the breaks was rap and hip-hop. We sat in section 242, but couldn't even make it out of our section to the concession stands (where the prices were greatly inflated) or restrooms because of all of the "Party Pass" people (with attitudes and sagging pants) who were blocking every entrance and wouldn't get out of the way. Next time it comes to Dallas, I'll be watching from my living room.

  • Watching Big Screen with 108,000

by LakrFan on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 1 out of 5

I am reviewing the game and venue only as I only will rate it one star. If I were to rate the halftime show I would give the total event 3 stars, as the halftime show was great, maybe because I could actually see the halftime show. Aside from saying that I was at the largest attended basketball game, I thought that the venue was not for anyone that actually wanted to see the game. My tickets were lower level Sec 144 for $250 and I found myself looking up at the huge display to watch the game rather than try to figure out who had the ball on the court. Except for the last 1 minute of the game 108,000 fans have never sounded so quiet. If I were the NBA I would never ever try this again. Stick to a regular sized arena or I will watch from the big screen in my home. This was the second NBA All-star game I attended and will probably be my last.

  • That Stadium Is Huge!!!!

    by Teezy1 on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time at the all-star game. Just being in the stadium was good enough. i bought two party passes for 60.00, and it was well worth it!! Although we couldnt get up close and personel they rented out binoculars, that helped with that situation.

  • Awesome!

by cocoanellie on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Had a great time. Best halftime show ever! The stadium is amazing.

  • Unforgettable

by immaculatelbg on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 5 out of 5

Besides the All-Star game being entertaining, and the great half-time show, the venue was impressive. Although I was not seating in the best seats, there was still a sense of luxury. I enjoyed the experience so much, I am looking forward to purchasing tickets for Cowboy games.

  • Parking lot attendant was running a shakedown

by NBAFanDDD on 2/18/10Cowboys Stadium - ArlingtonRating: 3 out of 5

Game was outstanding. Unfortunately, I had paid for reserved parking ahead of time. The lot attendant refused my entry. I refused to leave having paid $50! After much pleading he let me in. He acted like he wanted a bribe. It was disgusting.
