The good thing about the show is that it brings back great memories and it give you the chance to let your hair down due the participation of the lyrics of the songs. It's really sweet, even though the Delphonics weren't up to par, in the City of New York, we will always show them love and just appreciate them being there.
Ive been going for years, delfonics sounded bad.and stylistics lead singer is not as good as the last one.but still had a great time .better music then we have now.
The concert was so amazing and fun. Brought me back to my high school days and all the fun we had though years. All the groups sounded great and they sure still all have the moves that made them so fun to watch and listen to. Planning on another concert with the groups soon!
Love this music! I had a great time. The show was fantastic. ššš¼šš¼
It was a great show of old school groups bringing us some of the best romantic songs to listen to. This was my 3rd time going , if you have not gone do so in 2020
We have been to this show 6 times. he musical groups were spectacular! I was a little disappointed that Eban Brown left the Stylistics. Even though the new lead vocal was good, I missed Eban's vocals.
We were staying in New York and decided to go to this rather than a broadway musical . It was a good decision! The bands were all great and my all time favourite stylistics made my weekend :) We were possibly the only brits there and the audience was full of native New Yorkers having the best time reliving their studio 54 days. Such an atmosphere! Loved it ššŗ
Orchestra seating was great. I also had my binoculars. All on venue class acts! Beacon Theatre ambiance is breathtaking! Props to the crowd Very Proper!! Staff ie batenders, vendors, ushers, and last but not least security on point! Letās do it again! One request is some female groups on the venue.
It was a great concert every group impressed me especially the the bloodstones I was fully sastisfied
From ticket purchase to seating, entire event was fantastic.
Great to hear and see the original members of some of the groups. The sound engineers and lighting technicians worked like high school interns. They didn't know who was singing on stage, didn't bring the mics. up, or hit the talent with the spot light....Very poorly performed. Real disappointing to the audience. Even though the Paramount Theatre has some of the worst acoustics, it's not an excuse for the technical aspect of the show could not compensate. Toward the end, they improved a bit. I was extremely please with the way ticketmaster handled my mishap with my ticket purchases; There was a glitch in the final stage on the online purchase and I ended up purchasing (4) tickets instead of the (2) I need. My credit card was charged for (4). I reported to ticketmaster and it was resolved with in hours. Great customer service ticketmaster. Thank you.
My seating was great..the show was great...i am planning to attend other shows.
Great show and music. Canāt believe they still can sing and dance.
The concert should have continued after midnight they should have had a balloon drop and party favors
Itās pretty sad when people are filming an event with poor lighting on there phones when you can watch it right in front of you. Go watch it on YouTube. I wanted to watch the actual event but we have people in front of us with bright phones filming that distract you and takes away the fun. Fortunately we were able to move to another spot because the event was not sold out. But you couldnāt escape the bright phones. They were everywhere. There are signs at the entrance telling you no filming but no one cares. The paramount was not a good venue for this event. The fox around the corner wouldāve of been much better. Standing room for dancing. You could move away from people with bright phones videoing if needed. At the paramount your stuck in small theater seating. That said, the paramount is a beautiful theater Iāve watched get remodeled. Awesome job they did! They need to clamp down on the phones.
I I got tickets for my mother for Christmas she went she enjoyed seats were great the show was great they had a picture Booth which was nice so overall it was a very good experience
The performances were wonderful and fun to listen to. The venue was beautiful. It was both our first time at the Paramount. The architecture was amazing.
The Delfonics needed much improvement (off key, singing was not in time with music, unorganized)- Weāre not as spry as we used to be so that may contribute. Stylistics were good (they got better as they went along) Harold Melvin & Bluenotes were great! (energetic, sounded good, smooth moves-Iād see them again. They should have appeared right before the last group-yes, they were that good!) (They literally got pushed off the stage -(the host took the mic when they were still singing-I could have listened to them a lot longer.) Stylistics were excellent! So....ooo polished, sounded great-nothing more to say-they killed it!!
It should have been longer or started later to bring in the New Year. The door could have handed out blowers and New Year Little hats. More groups should have been added. Loved the groups but for New Yearās Eve should have been something more for $100 a ticket.
