by Ray on 7/23/19Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

We love the experience BUT, there was heavy traffic on our way to the event, and parking was difficult and expensive.

Master of Ceremonies J. J. Walkers was fantastic. His personality and comedy were perfect for the groups involved. The music was nostalgic and refreshing. The venue was perfect as always. I had a great time. Would recommend to all .

Love this show, wish there more like it every summer. These musicians are not getting any younger - let’s take advantage of seeing them live while we can

  • Great Show

by LarryF on 6/4/19NYCB Theatre at Westbury - WestburyRating: 4 out of 5

The show was great I would have given it 5 stars but there were times when the stage turned and I couldn’t see the performers very well .... it would have been better if the band was in the pit.

  • Excellent Concert

by GeeWiz on 2/26/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

They had the correct groups represent the 70's. Blue Magic and Bloodstone killed it with their style and singing. The remaining groups helped to remind me of a time when music was music. I'm so glad I attended that concert and will remember it for the rest of my life. Now I'm looking forward to next year to see if there'll be another line up alone the same lines!!!!

  • 70's Soul Jam Valentines Concert

by Jerzee on 2/22/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

The groups look really good and sound great for the most part. Many of them still have strong and sultry voices. Their falsetto voices make you just want to melt as it brings back such wonderful memories. You can tell that they still really enjoy singing and performing in front of appreciative audiences. Biggest complaint is that it takes far too long to get into the Beacon. The security checkpoint causes long delays as crowds are waiting to get in. It really needs to be improved.

  • Perfect valentines date night

by Yoyo on 2/21/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

After a perfect but pricey dinner at Lincoln steakhouse. We arrived about 10 minutes late. No big deal so we thought. There was a line around the corner to get into the beacon theater. Our seats were in the lower balcony they were in the 2nd row pretty good. However, when we arrived someone was in our seats. After waiting 10 more minutes to have that issue and missing the first group resolved we loved the show. We sung the songs all the way home

  • Good show

by elaine on 2/20/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Blue Magic & Bloodstone were sensational! The Stylistics were disappointing; the lead singer Bo Henderson can't hit the high notes like Eban Brown could and the group had to make up for it by shortening the medley of hits or Bo singing la-la-la to kill time. The Manhattans were OK. The Delfonics were good.

  • An Evening Of Sheer Nostalgia

by Kendu on 2/19/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Turning back the "hands of time" is always bittersweet, but fortunately this 70's Soul revue show was worth the tears welling up in ones eyes. The harmony of each group was unique and the Bands that backed the groups were very "tight", which added to an outstanding performance.

  • Concert was great!

Just wish I would of brought closer seats to stage

  • 70’s Old Jam

by PC on 2/19/19Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 2 out of 5

Very disappointing! We love the 70’s Soul Jam so much that my family and I come out every year to see it! Unfortunately, we did miss it last year! All I can say is what happened to the Delfonics? Where is Garfield Ruffin (brother of David). You could always depend on him to pick it up if Mr. Hart wasn’t on point! They need some help. Maybe it’s time for Mr. Hart to call on his brother or retire (with all due respect)! The Stylistics were not even that good! What happened to their lead singer? I’m not talking about Russell Tompkins. There was a younger one that is fabulous and very missed! Thank god for Blue Magic and Bloodstone! The lead singer of Bloodstone gave a hell of a performance even though he was in the wheelchair! God bless them all! They have all given us such wonderful songs and memories that will outlast us all. Just a little disappointed!
