  • The staff is annoying. Crowd was a little dead.

    by S. P. on 2/18/20Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

The staff was being so annoying! Telling everyone to put there phones away or they’d be escorted out. That’s how ppl preserve memories now, you can’t just tell people to put away their phones! For every person you catch, there like 20 other people who haven’t been caught! It’s redundant and a little humiliating. They were telling people to sit down too. AT A CONCERT! I paid money to sway to the music, not sit and stare at the stage. Also, the crowd was a little older (as I had expected), so it was frustrating, them telling me I was in the way and they couldn’t see FROM THEIR SEATS! Young or old, a love music experience is supposed to be different from hearing it on the radio. That means it makes no sense AT ALL to sit and stare at the stage, you can do that at home! Other than that, the performers were outstanding!

  • OK

by TG Cook on 2/18/20Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Bloodstone, Enchantment and Intruders were the best. The Emotions were ok. The lead vocalists was weak and voice was strained. The Stylistics lead vocalists did not deliver at all. The seats were good. Overall we give the show a 3.

by Brooklyn -V on 2/18/20Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

This show was amazing, it was good to see the Old Timers still have their Smooth Moves and dance Steps. Singing their hits songs brought back good memories and good times.😊

  • Down memory lane

by Melba sanchez on 2/18/20Beacon Theatre - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic. I knew every song. I scresmed ,i cried remembering so msny things. The Stylistics were the bomb. A great great group. The only thing was thatsome groups were replaced with other groups. I was dying to see Blue Magic but no show. If the stylistics would have been replaced i would have asked for my money back because they are the reason i went. But all in all it was a fabulous show.

The music was amazing! Routines just like it was back then. Absolutely a must. Did use some profanity, the announcer and very litte with one group. Besides that was fantastic. Loved the music, the band, excellent.

  • Greek theater is awesome.

by William on 7/24/19Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

The Greek theater is a fun experience to spend an evening of music with friends. I used their off site parking. The Shuttle company needs work in the customer service. After the concert, we waited nearly an hour till we saw a string of 5 shuttles come at the same time. Then when he dropped us off, he skipped our lot so we had to walk back 150 yards in the dark and grass/walkway. I wouldn't have minded, except I have sore knees. The concert was exceptional and amazing. The Greek theater is as great as the Hollywood Bowl.

  • Wonderful.. TOP NOTCH!!

    by Over50 on 7/23/19Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

From the Master of Ceremony Jimmy Walker to each multitalented group: Chi-Lites Delfonics, Heatewave, Harold Melvin & Bluenotes, Stylistics... to the beautifully renovated Greek.. this show was deliver everything the audience wanted ( except maybe more time but They packed a lot into the time) and more. Everything flowed wonderfully no lagging in between artists overall. There was a little lag before the Chi-lites but I counted as a suspenseful Chit-town entry as they were the No. 1 reason I could not pass up attending the show. Everyone around was singing and grooving with all the artists though. Jimmy kept us laughing ! Anyone that loves 70’s Soul music that did not attend you missed a “very groovy situation “ in words of the infamous Gene Chandler!

  • Great Evening Outdoors

by Sweetie on 7/23/19Greek Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I had a great experience at the Greek Theater watching the Delfonics, Heatwave, The Chilites, Harold Melvin’s BlueNotes and The Stylistics and JJ Walker as the host. As Each group perform I was able to sing along to each song. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant. I will be attending the Maze concert at the end of August!
