The concert was awesome and Jimmie "JJ" Walker was hilarious!
The concert was excellent. Several bands played in that concert and The Stylistics as the finale and they were all great! More bang for the buck.
This Soul Jam was off the hook. It took me back down memory lane. The pace of the acts were awsome. No long gaps. Jimmy Walker (better know to me as JJ) was great. He kept us entertained between shows. I just wish each act could have been longer because the music was so good. They sang all there hits and they can still move. Outstanding!
I really enjoyed the concert. For a mature person the box seats were a little unconfortable. However, aftter the concert started I was well adjusted. I really enjoyed all the groups.
Incredible show with stellar performances by the best of 70's R&B. This was worth 10 times what I paid. I hope this concert comes back next year!
CONCERT WAS FANTASTIC. BROUGHT BACK SO MANY GOOD MEMORIES! SEEMS LIKE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT TIME LIKE ME. J.J. WALKER IS AS FUNNY AS EVER. I REMEMBER THE PROGRAMS AND THEY WERE ONE OF MY FAVORITE SHOWS. JOB WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!!!
This was one of the best concerts I have be in a long time. The line up was fantastic, but the Stylistics brought the house down. Five groups perform and it was worth every penny.
The concert took me back to a good place in my life, met wonderful people and Jimmy Walker I love you. Thank you for such a wonderful time, the only thing I regret I didn't get a Jimmy Walker T-shirt and hug from him..
The groups were terrific all the way up and down the lineup. New Birth lead could have considered the families there before using the language he did but other than that, it was a mind blowing experience. Looking forward to more of the same soon!
all the performers were great!! and they had an amazing band! would definetly see them again!
The concert was the BOMB!!! It took me on a trip down memory lane with all the old school jams I listen to when I was a teenager/young adult.
this was not the original stylistics, the lead singer was not russell tompkins jr.
It was a excellent show. I would recommend it to repeat again , i will be there.
The show was very good Very classy Top Drawer I felt young again I had a great seat also the sound is great in the venue Stick with the vintage groups I believe it will pay off in many ways I have somewhere to take my out of town guest Thank You
The concert was the East Coast sound of Philly. Growing up in Jersey, each group were very special to us and gave us those love songs of the romance and the good times we had being young and wild back in the day. Had a wonderful time and it was Simply a Great Show!
I thought considering their ages that all the groups performed extremly well. They put heart and so much soul into these performances. The stallistics were my favorite. I had never been to a show at the Portsmouth Netlos Wireless Pavillion but it was wondereful I highly recommend this venue.
The show was awesome. hope the show return. There was no wait between acts. The performers were dressed for the time period they were representing.
Fantastic show!!!!! Stylistics, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, and Blue Magic were amazing. The Delfonics was disappointing. They chose entertain their fans with rap, raggae, and reditions of other peoples songs. They have some many songs that we loved and did not get a chance to hear them Too bad. However, loved the show!!!!
Exceptionally good performances by all groups!!!! Great footwork.
Attended this concert a little apprehensive about the performance of Blue Mgic. To my surprise, they were great. Wish I could say the same about the Delfonics. The lead singer did better with his "rap" than singing his own songs. Harold Melvin's Blue Notes set the tone and got everyone in the groove for a great night. The Stylistics were awsome as I expected they would be. It was a great concert and so glad that my husband and I were there.
