Worth traveling all the way to Vegas!

by WhiteQueen on 3/22/17Cannery Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

This one concert alone was worth traveling across country from Tennessee to Las Vegas. We loved every minute of it!

    10,000 Maniacs was awesome!

by Blueagave13 on 3/21/17Cannery Hotel and Casino - Las Vegas

Small, intimate venue. Seats were second row, center section. Band was awesome, and played all of their hits! They totally engaged the audience throughout the show. Staff was friendly, and ready to help with any question. Casino was a little smoky, but well worth it for the experience.

    10000 maniacs

by altmusicfan on 11/22/16Cohoes Music Hall - Cohoes

Wasn't sure what to expect without Natalie Merchant. Have always liked their music in the past. Ramsey was ok but not Natalie. Some of the songs Were mediocre at best. Ramsey looked good and is a great violinist. Her voice got better as the songs progressed. Ok show for the price. Was a night out. Probably wouldn't see them a second time.

10000 Maniacs Still Doing it Right

by Vikingtools on 11/22/16Cohoes Music Hall - Cohoes

Flawless show by The 10000 Maniacs at Cohoes Music Hall on Saturday night (11/19/16) Can't say enough about how professional and smooth they still are. Mary is amazing on vocals as well as violin. Whole band was really tight and still has it all together. Great show

    10000 Maniacs show was great!

by LongTimeManiac on 11/22/16Cohoes Music Hall - Cohoes

Mary was excellent. The band was excellent. The music was stellar!! Last I saw them was in 1993 and this was worth the wait. The band roamed the venue after the show and were chatting it up with concertgoers. They plays a lot of old music but had a bunch of recent songs too.

    Natalie Merchant wasn't there

by Asdfghjpoi on 11/20/16Bearsville Theater - Woodstock

We expected to see Natalie Merchant, but it was her backup band without her. And they weren't coming on for another two hours after the 7pm start that was advertised. So we left and lost $100. Won't be fooled again!

    10,000 Maniacs were AWESOME!!

by Audpodge on 8/10/16The Canyon - Agoura Hills

I have been a fan since the late 80's! The last time I had seen them live was in 1993 at the Greek Theater! They sounded great, and I had a blast singing along to all their hits! Fortunately I was close to the stage, and scored a copy of the set list. Despite being exhausted from travel, they were all gracious enough to stay and sign memorabilia for their fans! What was even more exciting was asking for a drum stick from Jerome Augustyniak. He obliged and even signed it!!! Admiring his drumming skills for so long made this night beyond memorable! Fan or no fan of the 10,000 Maniacs, you will be after seeing them live! They really aimed to please their fans, and mission accomplished!

    Love this band!

    by Laurel377 on 6/7/16Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

10,000 Maniacs put on a great show in Atlanta! A good mix of both new material and old, recognizable hits. They're definitely still rockin' it, and the Atlanta crowd stood up and danced appreciatively for much of the show. If you are a fan of the band you won't be disappointed!

    You had to be there

by Gyniahouse on 4/6/15Birchmere - Alexandria

I have been attending Maniacs shows for nearly 30 years. My counting isn't particularly good but I have seen at least 30 shows and likely closer to 50 shows if I could count them all. The band is the soundtrack of my life and the shows always exceed my rather high expectations. From the start I am flooded with memories of shows past. Before the first song finishes past shows no longer exist. The only thing is the moment. By the third song my face hurts. Why does my face hurt? Then I realize that my face hurts because I am smiling so wide!!! Going to a Maniacs show is an experience that is unlike any other. I can't wait for the next chance to see them!!!

Awesome concert. The Scottish Rite a Theater is amazing. 10,000 Maniacs played a mix of older hits and new songs. The music and lighting were fantastic. Great act!

    Wonderful

by Croskey on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Awesome show! Went with trepidation once finding out this concert wouldn't be featuring vocalist Natalie Merchant and was thrilled with the lovely voice and talent of Mary Ramsey! The added bonus of hearing Paul & Fred from Little Feat started the evening off with a great tone.

for a bunch of Maniacs they are great muscicians

by Jazz1207 on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

Great show...1st Maniacs show. The Scottish Rite Auditorium has amazing acoustics. The show picked up momentum throughout ending with a string of awesome songs. The B3 and the horn section really filled the room.

    This concert was terrific!

by SmilnSteve on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

The lead act of Paul Barrere and Fred Tackett doing an acoustic set were terrific! This was the first time I have seed pre act get and do an encore! The 10000 Maniacs were very good . Natalie Merchant has a beautiful voice and played a mean electric violin. They played alternating songs new and old. They came back for an encore of Natalie doing an acapella version of an Irish poem then they played " Trouble " as a whole band. It was a great night of music, in a great venue!

    Great Concert

by LGPG on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

We will go to Scottish Rites for most any concert because it is a great venue. We had heard of 10,000 Maniacs, but were not quite sure what they did or what they were about. They started out with either new or obscure songs which did not bode well. Soon they go into their good stuff and it became very enjoyable. Overall a great concert experience!

    9,999 Maniacs ... Missing a key member

by Normiam on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

First, Paul and Fred were fantastic and I could have been happy listening to them for another hour and a half. 10,000 Maniacs were average. The sound, especially when the horns joined the band, was not mixed well and the result was a session that sounded more like instruments / voices fighting for attention instead of blending together in a cohesive way. No offense to the current lead because she has viola and some singing chops... She's simply not Natalie.

10,000 Maniacs was worth a miss

by EarsStillBleeding on 1/27/15Scottish Rite Auditorium - Collingswood

The sound man had the volume set on STUN. Horribly loud. The lead singer can't carry the show and should not try. This band would not get a lounge gig in Atlantic City if they were starting without a brand name.

Very disappointed in show. No energy. It seemed like they were going through motion. No enthusiasm.
