ZZ Top Concert Schedule

ZZ Top is a legendary American rock band known for their blues-infused rock music, bawdy lyrics and long, red beards. ZZ Top tours include the 2017 Tonnage Tour, 2016 Hell Raisers Tour, and the 2013 La Futura Tour. ZZ Top live shows leave the audience laughing dancing and feeling like they are at a jam session with close friends, instead of a concert headlined by rock and roll legends. Their massive success has allowed all of their albums to reach gold or platinum status. The band's best selling album is 1983's Eliminator, which spawned the hit singles "Legs" and "Sharped Dress Man." The album went on to sell 10 million units, reaching diamond status and the 25 million records they've sold in the U.S. makes them one of the top 100 selling artists in the country. ZZ Top has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide, and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004.

ZZ Top Background

ZZ Top formed in 1969 in Houston Texas with guitarist and lead vocalist Billy Gibbon, organist Lanier Greig and drummer Dan Mitchell. The name of the band came from Gibbons combining the names of B.B. King and Z.Z. Hill, when he noticed that many artists used their initials as their band's name. When ZZ King seemed too close to the originals he changed it to ZZ Top. The current lineup of the band consists of bassist and lead vocalist Dusty Hill, Billy Gibbon and drummer Frank Beard. ZZ Top's signature sound can best be described as blues-infused rock with elements of punk rock and new wave added through their use synthesizers. While Eliminator was the band's most successful album with 10 million albums sold, 1985's Afterburner was their highest charting album. All the singles from Afterburner were Top 40 hits and the album itself went on to sell five million copies. Other Top 40 singles include 1975's "Tush," 1977's "I Thank You," and 1981's "Gimme All Your Lovin'"Follow ZZ Top on social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Facebook.

    Handicap Unfriendly

by Bones on 4/27/24Findlay Toyota Center - Prescott Valley

ZZ Top was great I just really had a difficult time seeing the stage and the band. I was in a wheelchair on the floor designated handicap and once the show started everyone stood up in front of us, and we couldn’t see anything, through out the rest of the show! Very disappointed about that part.

    Great show

by D-Ron on 4/27/24Findlay Toyota Center - Prescott Valley

ZZ Top is always great. The Black Moods were also great. The Toyota Center is a great local venue. My only complaint with them is that there is no center aisle for the first 4 rows so if you’re in the middle seats you’re always bothering people to get out for the bathroom, drinks etc. The entire floor seating has a middle aisle walkway, until you get to the front 4 rows. No sense!

    Too loud

by Peg on 4/27/24Findlay Toyota Center - Prescott Valley

Volume was too loud and the volume of the music drowned out the vocals. Would have liked more of the popular songs.

    Bands were great!

by Rubedawg on 4/26/24Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

Last time I saw ZZ Top was 43 years ago. I thought I had pretty good seats until I'm int big guy in front of me decided to stand up and block my view. A few others stood up, inconsiderate of others behind them. Other than that, it was an awesome show. Five stars for the bands. Three stars for the seating arrangement.

    Cute, though the luster lacks

by Mujer on 4/25/24Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

ZZ Top has been going at it for 50 years. An important element of the human psyche is knowing when it's quittin' time. I saw this group a few years back in ABQ, NM and their musicianship was top notch. With the death of Rhodes comes the slow decay of ZZ Top as a whole. This show was quite the spectacle, and every hit was played... though, sorry Gibson and Beard, time to move your talents to greener pastures. Your band used to really produce great music, now you sample spectacular talent and ride on the coat tails of past success. Retire now before ZZ Top turns into total Z's.

    They still got it

by ArmyNurse El Paso on 4/25/24Abraham Chavez Theatre - El Paso

The sound system could have been better. They sounded great and played for quite a while, but the concert seemed to end abruptly. They walked off and we all assumed they would be back for an encore and suddenly the lights came on and everyone started leaving. They had not done Sunglasses or Tush! Not sure if something happened, if it was a mixup, or what!

    ZZ Top still rocks

    by JazzFan on 4/25/24

We just saw ZZ Top in Prescott Valley, AZ and they put on a fantastic show. Billy Gibbons still has his iconic voice, Frank Beard still crushes the drumbs, and Dusty Hill would be proud of Elwood Francis on the bass.

Loved ZZ Top!!! Disliked Black Stone Cherry.

by Loved ZZ Top!!! Disliked Black Stone Cherry. on 4/24/24American Bank Center Arena - Corpus Christi

ZZ Top is ALWAYS worthwhile and fabulous! Black Stone Cherry was WAY WAY WAY TOO LOUD! We were up high in the back and even there everyone around us as well as my husband and I had to cover our ears! If the music was the same volume as ZZ Top it would have been tolerable.
