WHITESNAKE IN CONCERT:
Legendary hard rock outfit Whitesnake has been inspiring serious headbanging for three decades, and they’re still electrifying audiences in 2015 with a refreshed and reloaded lineup for the Purple Tour. Ticket buyers can expect a thrilling experience when legendary frontman David Coverdale holds out the microphone for them to join in on mega hits like “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”. Guitarists Joel Hoekstra and Reb Beach back him up with plenty of fire power as they unleash insanely fast licks and pummeling power chords. Meanwhile, drummer Tommy Aldridge and bassist Michael Devin tie it all together with their smooth yet intricate grooves. Fans of classic hard rock showmanship won't want to miss Whitesnake as they continue to let it all hang out on tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Whitesnake was formed in Middlesbrough, England in 1978 by David Cloverdale, a British rocker who had previously fronted pioneering hard rock outfit Deep Purple. The band maintained solid record sales in their native England throughout the early ‘80s with hits like “Fool for Your Loving”, but label executive David Geffen suggested they might attract an American audience with a more commercially accessible sound. Whitesnake responded with their self-titled 1987 album, which contained the hits “Here I Go Again” and “Is This Love”. Both songs received heavy rotation on radio and MTV, eventually pushing album sales to 8 million copies. Though the band remained successful for the remainder of the decade, Coverdale announced an indefinite hiatus for Whitesnake in 1991. After some one-off shows and brief tours in the ‘90s, the band officially reformed in 2002 and went on to release the albums Good to Be Bad (2008) and Forevermore (2011). Coverdale and Whitesnake returned in 2015 with The Purple Album, which treated fans to a retrospective of his illustrious career with covers of some of his best songs from his Deep Purple days.
White snake done a great concert. The hotel however needs improvement. Lack of signage where to go in the hotel to get to correct room. (Had to ask other customers). Staff was off key as far as customer service. But overall I did enjoy the concert.
Sounded just like they did in 80’s Good show Could have played longer
Whitesnake rocked the Seneca Casino.. All the classics and some new songs.. Great show and one hell of a performance...
Dave and the boys rocked it at the turning stone. The setlist was full of great songs and dave held up well for most of it...lets face it hes 69 years old and his songs arent easy to sing!..the guitar duel with the 2 guitar players was cool and even tommy s drum solo was insane! Pure and talented musicians only in that band lemme tell you! ..pure metal show from start to finish!
The band was phenomenal. We had great seats. The show started one hour late. That was a downside. And to hear it was a conflict between Turning Stone and white snake over the volume. The show seemed short with only a one-hour show. Mind the band didn't disappoint. But sitting there for 1 hour waiting for the band to come on stage without any explanation was very inconsiderate!
My wife and I attend 20-30 concerts a year, always loved Whitesnake, seen them a few times, but I gotta say, David Coverdale has lost his voice, I felt bad for him, band sounded ok, 30-40 minute delay because of Technical difficulties? Turning Stone Event center had the seats way to close to each other, I'm a big guy and my wife is small, she didn't enjoy the show because we were so cramped..
Show start time was 8pm ,started at 8:45pm.show lasted 1hr 20min...seating at venue was not comfortable. Literally had part of another person in my seat.as far as performance of whitesnake, as expected, great.
It was so easy getting there and we fully enjoyed the atmosphere and music

Concert started 50 minutes late and have no reason. then they only played for a hour. Music was really good. Vocals were ok but can’t hit the big notes anymore but he is 67 now.
Great songs, muscianship, swagger. Its great to see after all these years including the new material.
I thought the band did a great job despite the delay caused by the event center. Also the floor seating is uncomfortable and they have you crammed in there. No space between you and the person next to you. The staff was great, the place needs an update. Del Lago is much better to see a band
It was a good show but David's voice is pretty shot. Sounds good here and there but hard to listen to at other times. Musicianship was excellent despite changes within the band.
Really enjoyed Whitesnake @ the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, they played a great setlist of songs over all. Wished they played a few Deep Purple songs and a few really old gems, but really liked the new music. The drum solo was epic and the guitarist were fantastic ! The venue was really hot inside, not sure why they didn't open the doors to get fresh air like they used too 😫
Excellent seeing Whitesnake perform live at Twin Casino, Lincoln Rhode Island, great hearing classic songs Is this Love and Here I go again. Hope to see Whitesnake back in 2020.
Great seats and accessibility! I loved the venue. Dave was feeling under the weather, but the show was awesome! The Joel and Tommy were very humble and it was a pleasure meeting them.
Whitesnake gave a great performance. I had a very good time. I loved a guitar solos and the drummer was excellent too. The vocalist with his power and passion entertained the whole theatre. Everyone loved it. Great show!!!
They still got. Sound great. Coverdale is highly entertaining.
Show was awsome and i got to see my child hero...at last "tommy aldridge" ...been a fan of his since i was 10 1\2 years old and now pushing 44 years old. Wish i had better seats so i could of seen him play.I PRAY THEY COME BACK TO RHODE ISLAND AGAIN SOON...AND DC AND REB SOUNDED AWSOME AS ALWAYS.BOUGHT THE DELUXE OF FLESH &BLOOD AND I THINK THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING CD...I THINK IT OUT SHINED FOREVERMORE THE LAST STUDIO CD ..ITS RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE 87 CD.MAYBE THEY WILL PLAY JUDGEMENT DAY NEXT TIME AND MORE TRACKS OFF SLIP OF THE TOUNGE....ALSO THIS WAS MY SOON TO BE 16 YEAR OLD SONS FIRST SHOW AND HE WAS BLOW AWAY WITH THE SHOW...WE WILL MAKE A ROCKER OUT OF HIM SOON ENOUGH.THANK YOU WHITESNAKE AND PLEASE DONT RETIRE AND COME BACK TO LINCOLN RHODE ISLAND ....AND THANK YOU TOMMY YOU MADE THE 10 1/2 BOY COME OUT AT 44.... AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMMY EARLY..MINE IS AUGUST 17TH. ☺♌💯
Whitesnake was awesome!!!!! my friend and I had a blast! The guys in the band really kept the audience in the groove as David Coverdale led the crowd through the hits and a few songs from the new Flesh and Blood Album. The drummer Tommy Aldridge was awesome as always!! The guitars,bass and keys were spot on as well. This was a very good show only issue was it was a little short as it was under 1 and a half hours long. I know they could have gone to 2 hours if they would have added a few more hits.all in all it was fun and entertaining and we would go to see the band again! ROCK ON WHITESNAKE!!!!!
