    Great ballet!

by BBCats on 4/4/22Chrysler Hall - Norfolk

The ballet was great. Talented performers, beautiful costumes and scenery. I am not familiar with the area and was a little confused about the parking but after passing by the building and coming back, got more familiar with the area. Employees were nice but the building is in bad shape and needs some repairs with the chairs.

An amazing performance not only from the ballet theater staff, but from the synchronized music delivered by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra! This show was an outstanding synergy of talent provided by all the people involved in the production! BRAVO!

    SINATRA SUITE

    by C1D2 on 10/12/14Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

SINATRA SUITE was fabulous. Misty Copeland and Marcelo Gomes were the perfect couple to do this piece. I have seen it in the past and this was the best!

    My Very First Ballet

    by Khaleesi7 on 10/11/14Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

Over the last year, I've become quite a fan of Misty Copeland...so I bought a ticket as soon as I found out that the American Ballet Theater was coming to Chicago. It's about a 3 hour drive for me...but it was soooo worth it! Misty Copeland did not disappoint and was amazing! However, I was also astounded by the ALL of the ABT. Each and every performer wowed me. Everyone did an amazing job and I was so very excited to tell everyone about my experience. I will definitely be coming back to the Auditorium Theatre...and I'm officially a fan of ballet and can't wait to see many more!

    ABT Dancers were wonderful!

by BusyBeeKaren on 10/8/14Auditorium Theatre - Chicago

The dancers were amazing as expected from American Ballet Theatre. However, the music was not good. The first part was to a Bach violin solo - very boring. The Sinatra suite music was good, of course. The music for On the Town was not what I expected and I did not like it. I know Leonard Bernstein wrote it, but I did not enjoy it. For me, the music must be good and coupled with wonderful ballet makes a marvelous experience. Maybe the ABT could consider this for their future programs.
