Enjoyed every moment. A classic was well done. The staging was excellent.
Amazing night out with family! The play, was awesome. The cast was fabulous! Takes you back, to great memories! Wonderful experience!!
Went and seen The Sound of Music at the DECC in Duluth, it was wonderfully done. The singing and dialogue were great and the scene transitions were smooth and unobtrusive. Great venue and performance, will definitely be going back for future theatrical performances.
The show was great. Very effective editing to allow the story to proceed in the time allowed. Great performances by all including Lauren Kidwell as The Mother Abbess and Jill- Christine Willey as Maria. Two "new" songs and very effective twists with the Baroness and Rolf. A must to see if you can. It is hard to redo classic but this crew pulled it off
From the atmosphere to the sets to the performers - it was a terrific experience!
Having seen the movie sound of music over and over, and growing up with my mother playing show tunes all day long, I could not imagine how the troop could do justice to the story, the scenery and the music. I was not at all let down. This show reminded me of how great theater can put you right into the story and the moment. I laughed, cried and didn't want it to end.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the play. The music was fantastic! The VonTrapp children, The Reverend Mother's singing was out of this world! Better than in the movie! I enjoyed everything sooooo much! I would love to see it again!
Their singing and acting was flawless. It was an awesome show that kept all of us entertained.
Well cast. Especially Mother Abbess singing Climb Every Mountain to finish off both acts. Brought down the house. Great evening.
We had a great time! The play was fantastic!! We sat in row X and still had great seats. The only complaint I had was cold air was blowing on us up until the mid break but then we were very comfortable. All in all was a great experience. Would go again!
Exceptional acting; exceptional music; exceptional evening!!! Only thing missing was an opportunity to have a singalong at the end of the show. We loved it!
My husband and I absolutely loved The Sound of Music! The singing and acting were wonderful! We’ve been singing the songs all week! Great performances from everyone from the children up to the adults! Powerful!
Show was very well done. Everyone did a fantastic job.
I had never seen the movie, so this was a WONDERFUL experience for me. I totally enjoyed the event. Everyone in the cast did a splendid job.
I would have liked to have seen more of the outdoor scenes with maybe Austrian mountains on a drop-down screen.
I loved it!!!! The cast was so good... there was no weak voices. The songs were perfect and the cast did amazing job and looked like they were having a great time as well. Such a good time!!!
My wife and I had a wonderful time attending the Sound of Music at the Stiefel Theatre in St. Louis, MO. My absolutely loves this musical, so I purchased our tickets in the mezzanine level seating. It couldn't have been a better night. The performance was amazing and the venue is great.
This show was absolutely wonderful. The acting and singing we're spectacular. There were people in the audience in tears. The emotion of the show was felt be everyone. I'm telling everyone I know to be sure to see it if it comes back.
My wife and I took our oldest daughter is about to turn 4. It is her favorite movie and when we saw that it was going to be close to home we wanted to bring her. We all loved it.
This production was great. All the the actors including the children preformed better than my expectations. We saw the understudy for Maria and she was excellent.
