Rod Stewart in Concert
With his 1978 No. 1 single, Rod Stewart famously asked the world "Da Ya Think I'm Sexy?" 100 million record sales later, it's safe to say the world answered "Yes." As one of the top-selling artists of all time, with a career spanning four decades, the British singer-songwriter is one of the most celebrated figures in rock and roll history. The times may have changed, but Stewart's appeal hasn't - with his 28th studio album, 2013's Time, the raspy crooner once again topped the UK Albums Chart - the first time he'd done so since the release of his Greatest Hits Volume 1 in 1979. Stewart got his start as a solo artists in the early '70s, achieving his first mainstream success with blues rock hit "Maggie May" from 1971's Every Picture Tells a Story. In the late '70s and early '80s, the singer would adopt disco and new wave influences to much success, including the 1978 No. 1 Blondes Have More Fun and 1981's Tonight I'm Yours, which featured the hit "Young Turks." On tour, Stewart treats ticket buyers to rollicking sets of his greatest hits, proving that "Rod the Mod" still knows how to give one heck of a live concert.

The show was beautifully done. Intimate atmosphere. It was like being on the stage with one of my idols. Rod Stewart was a bit late to start but once the show started all was forgotten and forgiven. What a performance and what a great time we had. So glad I attended!!
The venue was great. Even though the performers were cramped, they did a great show. We will definitely see more shows here.
Was all about it, really great show, until he just left before the last song was over(his girls finished song). Thought he did that to take a breather before final song, but No.. song over, dim lights came on, everyone stayed, thought he would do encore-maybe introduce his band/singers-say thankyou and goodnight? Everyone standing there for 5 min, then all light came on to tell everyone that’s it!
Rod was fantastic!! This venue is the best and my absolute favorite!!
We saw Rod Stewart at the Hard Rock Tampa. At 79, he may have lost a little bit from his heyday but more than made up for it by having an absolute blast on stage with his band and backup singers. Rod’s vocals were still solid when he sang his hits. He took breaks at points allowing others to show their talents as well. Really enjoyed the night!
The show was awesome! Hard Rock venue was a great size as there is not a bad seat in the house. The last row even has a great view! The talent in Rod’s band and team are amazing.
It was fantastic to see Rod at a small venue. We could see his love of the music up close. He still has a lot of energy - especially for a 79 year old! Loved it
Hard rock casino in Tampa Florida—too Much adult beverage , was late coming on stage . Forgot words to songs . Didn’t finish the ending to a song . Sounded really ruff. The price of the ticket was extremely expensive for a poor performance.
I bought tickets for my wife for Valentine's Day. The concert was good but he was off stage a lot, and the backup singers had their own concert. Then, there wasn't an encore, that was very disappointing. For the prices of the tickets I personally felt let down.
Rod Stewart was FANTASTIC! Played many of his top songs, along with his rendition of other artists hits. The band was exceptional, each and every one. I’d pay to see them, they were that good. Best recommendation I can make is I would see him again. I sang and danced my way through the entire concert. It was a blast!
I loved every second of it! One of the best shows I’ve seen. It was entertaining and Rod was so energetic and lovely 🥰 Just wish he came out for an encore
Rod put on a great show as usual. Our seats however were not great. Paying $400 per seat and being stuck in a corner was a little disappointing. Totally ignored when asked if we could upgrade our seats. Just not professional at all. Saw Rod in August in NH great show and great seats for half the price of the Tampa show. May rethink the smaller venues, Ticketmaster how about some customer service!!
Rod Stewart put on a great show. I’ve seen him 20 times & he’s always been fantastic!
Well, I'm glad we saw Rod now. We've never seen him before, during his prime. He can dance and move and his singing is more of a recital...He just doesn't have the dynamic range, although he can still get the lyrics done. In a year, he might not be able to 'sing' those lyrics. Rod is a showman and his stage presence will always be something to see. Thank Sir Rod Stewart, you made an enjoyable evening for us!
Rod was fantastic! Really enjoyed his show!! But he just disappeared at end. No good night just mic drop. Hope he’s ok. Not like him. I’ve seen him 7 times and he always says thank you, good night
Have seen Rod probably 10 plus times. Great entertainer
Very disappointing show, Only half of his set was actually his songs. If I wanted to see a girl Gallic band that plays violin I would have bought tickets for that show. I was convinced this is a retirement show and its all about the money when as the last song was ending he left the stage in a hurry and didn't say thank you, kiss my as or anything. Your a has been Rod (and I loved your music all these years) so go home and quit ripping off your decades long fans.
Although I did enjoy Rod Stewart concert performance at Hard Rock Casino, I, as well as everyone else, was very disappointed and shocked with his ending. After singing his “last” song, Rod Stewart went off stage (thought he was doing another costume change or break ) music started to play a song “the show must go on” Upon completion of that song, the crowd was getting loud as is the norm chanting for Rod to come back on for the encore song. He never came back, and the lights went on. Everyone was shocked as he didn’t end his last song with a good night or thank you. Everyone was disappointed and some unkind words were heard. What happened???
Nice venue, great screens Rod was great at 79 . Took quite a few breaks during sets and lastly didn’t finish set list. He seemed to be off a bit , when he finished a song and walked off set and never came back. Disappointed ting he would come back left the girls to finish the concert . Lots of $$ for that show to end early like that . Others around were also very surprised.
