About

It has been more than ten years since Celtic Woman first captured America's imagination with its self-titled first public television special.  That historic concert performance launched a genuine cultural phenomenon, introducing millions of new fans to the group's fresh fusion of traditional Irish music, contemporary studio craft and state-of-the-art stage production.

Since then, Celtic Woman's evocative, uplifting music has touched the hearts of a devoted audience that spans the globe.  In addition releasing CDs and DVDs that have become multi-platinum best-sellers, the group has continued to perform in front of capacity crowds on a series of sold-out concert tours.

Having been named Billboard magazine's World Albums Artist of the Year six times, Celtic Woman is a one-of-a-kind musical entity that showcases four gifted young Irish women: three world-class vocalists and a brilliant Celtic violinist, whose talent and charisma help to bring centuries of musical and cultural tradition to vibrant life in the group's recordings and concert performances.

Classical invigorating and beautifully soul reaching

by Deb on 4/27/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

My autistic daughter, and I enjoyed the dance, the drums, the bagpipes, and the Italian opera. The dresses were amazing and the voices were beautiful as well as the elegant dancing. We will see them whenever they are back in town again.

    Magical

by Madison on 4/27/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

I really enjoyed the Celtic women performance. The show felt magical. I loved how the women wore beautiful dresses and told stories of each song they performed and how much it meant to them. The performance felt very personable. I can’t wait until the next tour.

    lighting and music

by Russ on 4/27/24BJCC Concert Hall - Birmingham

First the Celtic Woman were great, their song selection was a mix of Irish and classics. The level of the music was too loud espically the drums. The most distracting was the lighting bright lights at the audience and spot lights at the audience. This was a music performance not a dam rock concert.

    Couldn’t understand words

by Mary on 4/26/24Mark C. Smith Concert Hall at the Von Braun Center - Huntsville

It was difficult to understand the words of the songs they sang. Not sure if it was the acoustics or the loud music or a combination. Wish there had been more dancing. Was not as good as I had expected. Once is enough.
