The Wailers had everyone in the Bijou Theater in Knoxville on their feet, performing Bob Marley's Legend album. In fact I thought the band was as good sounding as the original Wailers. A lot of fun and good vibes!
I LOST MY VOICE FOR 2 days ! I may or may not have been the loudest front row person !
Sharing an awesome night with my brother listening at the Wailers. Awesome service from valet attendant, ticket takers, and bartenders.
The Wailers concert was fantastic! It was so unifying. The mixed race audience sang and danced as one. The message was "Peace, Love, and Unity". This is one of the best concerts I've ever attended.
Great music kept me off my feet! Too many directions and mazes to navigate to FINALLY receive two tickets! I expected seats only to discover there were eight reserved seats. The rest was for standing only. However some more chairs were finally brought out for a few people.
So many hits and upbeat/positive. Show was fair to good, set was fair. Music makes for an enjoyable night. Will go again when they return.
What a wonderful and fun evening! The Wailers sounded fantastic, great vibe and enjoyed the female singers as well. We danced the whole night! Miss it already!
The theatre is 115 years old. She's a beauty. Seats 700 people. The staff is helpful and very sweet. The drinks are expensive. A Coke was $3.00. but you expect now days to pay high prices for food. The Wailers were awesome as usual! 2 hour long concert. They played all of the favorites. The only gripe I have is that one of the female Back up singers seemed to act like she would have liked to be any where else. She played with her hair, her dress, had out of sinc movements the other singer. Their voices did add a richness to the band. Both were beautiful. They could have appeared to have cares a bit more about their shoes. They looked like sandles and didn't match each other, whereas the dresses looked more like each other in style and color. The band mates didn't move much from their spots on stage. The lead singer was energetic enough for them all. He had us rockin! It was good to see a couple of the older guys still there. I would attend another Wailers concert and I will be going back to the bayou theatre when another concert is available.
Great show. Great venue. Everyone was dancing up a storm and having a great time!
