Great performance! Although the intermission was at a perfect place within the story line, it was too long to wait for a break. Not only was my 4 year old getting antsy but I also noticed many adults losing focus. I honestly wouldn't recommend this for kids younger than 6 for that reason.
Engaging and delightful, I didn't want it to end! The music was fabulous and dance numbers so lively and beautifully choreographed that the audience was "all in." The main characters were perfectly cast; so well fit to the role and performed their songs to perfection. I was seated next to children - we were all so enthralled no one made a peep or got fussy. This is one of the best productions I have ever seen. Absolutely recommend!
The play followed the story line. We preferred the lively numbers. Too many slow numbers for a young audience. The real problem was the poor acoustics. Granted we were in the upper loge, but it was incredibly difficult to hear.
The music was so much louder than the singers, it was all but impossible to hear anything being sung. The main cast were mostly good but that was destroyed by the music being so very much louder. The sets were fine. But the back up dancers/singers were pretty bad. My eyes get getting drawn to one dancer who seemed to be counting out the steps with his mouth as he did them. On the whole, I was very disappointed with this production.
I loved everything about the show except the sound. I think the individual voices should be louder and better controlled by the sound tech. When the music played, it was very hard for me to hear the singing unless it was someone with a very strong voice or an ensemble. Otherwise, the sets, cast, and show were fabulous. I am really glad we went.
I was enthralled with watching my granddaughter enjoying the amazing spectacle of Beauty and the Beast! I would recommend every grandma treat their grandchildren to birthday surprises like this!
The cast was great! Both synchronized dancing and singing were on point! This was an exceptional performance. We enjoyed from start to finish.
What a great show. The music, the costumes, everything. The kids loved it.
The cast was so blah and just had no energy. I have been to 9 different Broadway shows and this was by far the most disappointing. The cast was not excited to put on the play at all. I definitely wish I could get my money back.
I went with my daughter who loves the teather. She loved it, It was funny, loved the music, the actors and the effects made it perfect. I highly recomended.
This was my first musical that I have ever attended and it was hands down absolutely amazing!! I felt like I was right there with them!! The singing and the scenes were EXACTLY like the movie that I used to watch numerous times with my Best Friend when we were younger. It was phenomenal!! Worth every penny!!! I would go back and see it again!!!
I had seen the original Beauty and the Beast, twice in Chicago when it came out. It was fantastic. The touring show was good, but the sets and costumes did not compare to the original.
Gaston was excellent Lumiere was excellent Everyone else was average to good. Not very memorable.

Beauty and the Beast was absolutely incredible! From the casting to the special effects, it had you mesmerized. It had you laughing and singing along, no matter what your age!
I've always loved the Disney film, so I thought I'd take a friend to see the musical. We had a great time. Great acting and the orchestra pit was awesome!
This play was awesome and it brought back a wonderful childhood feelings.
The overall musical was very good. Singing and music was outstanding. My issue was with all the latecomers and the crying children. Every Time someone walked in the usher would have to turn on the flashlight, the person would have to climb over others in their seats or the people would have to get up and then they blocked our view.
My wife and I went to the performance during the Christmas season. It was truly unforgettable. The only weirdness was the ushers got excited over cell phones, however this is 2015 and frankly that mentality is too old. However it did not impede our enjoyment of the show. It brought back memories from the Disney movie we both saw as kids.
I took my children & dad to see the off Broadway performance of Beauty & the Beast, and it was phenomenal!! The costumes, actors, stets, & music was simply perfection to behold. The production was a long one, but not a clock watcher. Overall a wonderful production for the entire family, & definitely worth the $.
