    Great Show

by Satisfied customer on 11/16/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The music was great and the School of the Arts corus was outstanding. Our seats however left something to be desired. We were to the far right and had an obstructed view of the stage.

    Great show

by Karen on 5/31/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The orchestra & guest pianist were sooo good. I loved that they picked so many different movie music. From Gone with the Wind, The good, the bad, & the ugly, to Jurassic park. Spanning so many decades of great music & great movies. Thanks for a fun night.

Roaring 20's Terrific Toe Tapping evening!

by DRG on 5/3/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Fantastic North Charleston Pops concert featured vocalists Gracie & Lacy, Zandrina Dunning, and musicians Michael Haldeman playing the xylophone and Robert Murray, trumpeter. Wow, thanks to the wonderful NCPops Orchestra conducted by Maestro Nick Palmer for a great evening!

    enjoyable evening

by J. M. on 5/3/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Great job and superbly played by the symphony but was hoping for more of a "show" with the ad--the two sisters performing the whole time. Wouldn't go again since I live out of town. When I was local, it was a regular for me to attend.

Pretty good for a high-school orchestra.

by DSSdoc on 5/3/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Except for Gracie & Lacy, a dismal evening. Certainly not worth the $ we spent.

    Truly Fantastic

by SCSheepdog on 3/23/22North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

The Pops concert was tons of fun from start to finish. Some of the music took me back to my childhood. There were singers, dancers and special instruments. You could tell the artists truly enjoyed performing for the audience. I will definitely be coming back to future concerts.

    Please be considerate

by Katniss2 on 5/2/18North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

We really enjoyed the music but the people sitting behind us really distracted us. They brought their 2 very young children--under 4 years old. The young children then proceeded to act like young children. They whined, talked, and ran between their parents constantly. Of course, this caused the parents to constantly talk and try to keep them quiet. Children this age are not old enough to understand or appreciate the music or relate it to the movies. I can't imagine they ever watched The Hunger Games or The Lord of the Rings. There were many older children there who were perfectly well behaved. On another note, the characters looked very uncomfortable just standing on the stage. Nice idea, but just didn't quite work.

    Fun Experience

by DW81 on 1/30/18North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

Let’s face it there’s only 1 Michael Jackson and Prince. This show was really fun. Gavin Hope interacted with the crowd and kept the party going. The Charleston Pops were AMAZING!! I’m looking forward to seeing another show.

    Enjoyable,,,,,,

by DianneChas on 1/30/18North Charleston Performing Arts Center - North Charleston

but could have been better. I was hoping to just hear the symphony playing the music of Prince and Michael Jackson. I am a huge Prince fan and although the singers were good, I was hoping to hear the symphony's take on the music of these two great artist. One or two songs sang for each set would not have been too bad but the singers drowned out the music sadly. What I did hear from the musicians, I can only imagine if it had just been the symphony playing the instruments, it would have been fabulous.
