The Rock Orchestra By Candlelight are a band of classical musicians from the United Kingdom who transform rock and metal songs into dark symphonies. The group of 14 musicians regularly performs concerts bathed in an ethereal candlelit glow as they turn songs by AC/DC, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Linkin Park and more into swirling, dark rhapsodies that bridge the chasm between metal, hard rock and classical music. In 2024, The Rock Orchestra will embark on a tour of their native U.K. as well as Europe and the U.S. to present their thrilling new 90-minute show.

Had a great time at the Rock Orchestra. The lines for security were organized and efficient. The only draw back was the plastic chairs were uncomfortable other than that it was great.
Rock Orchestra was amazing and made for a great evening . This was our 1st time at the Roxy. I like the smaller venue but will pick diff seats next time . We sat upstairs and got the VIP package . We will choose seats that are better for seeing all of the stage area but still not a bad night at all. Every staff member at the Roxy was super friendly and seemed to be enjoying the night also. I’m so glad we paid for the VIP package . We actually saved money compared to our friends who bought food from the Roxy. VIP included food in the lounge . The Bartender was my kind of guy . Took care of his customers and made every one feel like they were the only customer . But he also kept the line moving and got people to the side if they didn’t know what they wanted to order . Overall we had a great time . We just learned where not to sit next time .
It was okay. musicians were okay. they did put a lot of energy into their show. Overall not a true top top quality orchestra. For the venue seats were jammed in and the seats were very small and are comfortable today's people are larger and you need to have 20% larger seats I could feel the two people next to me as* to as*! The EP Lounge at $50 a head is ridiculous. Seats are comfortable and it's a nice area but the food you get might be worth $10-$15 max. $35 to sit on a sofa for a break from the tiny seats you paid for.
This was my first time ever going to a rock orchestra and it was amazing I felt chills and joy it was an epic date night
There was a lot of talent on the stage, but it wasnt as good as I thought it was going to be I thought it would be a bit more powerful then it was... I felt it was almost like a high school musical performance It was definitely a 1 and done...wouldnt go again
This was a casual date night with the wife. Probably one of the most fun concerts we have been to. Imagine all of those band geeks (absolutely a compliment) in high school straight owning some 90 and 2000s rock. Fantastic show and I would definitely watch another show if they were in town!
Unique Rock Orchestra - def. worth checking out and an experiencing at least once.
If you like a varied mix of music styles this show is amazing.. Orchestra instruments playing rock music. Some songs take a moment to recognize, but every note is on point and you can tell the musicians are really into what they're doing..it's a party
When I bought tickets, all I knew was that this event involved classical musicians playing rock music by candlelight while wearing skeleton outfits and masks. The combination was too intriguing to pass up. I am soooo glad that I bought tickets. The performance was awesome. The musicians and two singers were great and very invested in their performance! The packed house knew and was energized. The song selection was varied (two 45 minute sessions + one encore) and popular with crowd. The solos by various members were quite impressive. Three violins, one viola, one cello, one double bass, xylophone, drums, two trumpets, one trombone and one saxaphone that was sometimes replaced by a flute or piccolo and two singers, one female and one mail. If you do not leave in a great mood well, then, you may need to seek medical attention.
