The female and male soloist singer were wonderful. The guitarist was so accomplished as were the pianist bass player and drummer. The whole ensemble was tight. The narrator and story line fairly accurate and very good acoustic guitar player and singer.
No complaints on the second half of the program Linda Ronstadt James Taylor, Carole king, Eagles, Jackson etc. It's the first half of the show that I take umbrage with. It's been said that without Roger(Jim) McQuin's 12 string Rickenbacker guitar folk rock and the sixty's after the Beatles may not have happened. Only one Byrds song without the signature Rickenbacker, no Gene Clark songs. The "For what it' Worth was done too jazzy, Neil Young's Cinnamon Girl the blew the iconic one note instrumental
The Door's Light my Fire was done more like the Jose Feliciano version, too jazzy.
The Doors were cutting edge phycodelic not folk rock.
Great musicians but I found theit presentation off for the sixties portion of the show. Maybe too much of a purist.
