Jesus Christ Superstar (Chicago) Tickets

Everything about this experience was first class. Starting with the theater staff. They were all very friendly and efficient as the patrons proceeded through the security check to the ticket processing. The staff was very helpful in directing everyone to their seats. The lights dimmed and the show began. The setting was quite different from the original performance we saw 50 years ago but the sound, music, and voices were as enjoyable as that first performance. The special effects were excellent. This production was every bit as good as the original.

This performance was amazing. We were lucky to be able to park right outside the doors and were greeted with friendly staff. The drinks and candy were delicious that we purchased prior to the performance. We were able to take a picture with the JCSS banner behind us that I will forever cherish. Seats were comfortable, however it was chilly inside the theatre. Thank goodness hubby purchased a JCSS sweat jacket for me (that I also will forever cherish). The actors were phenomenal and their voices were music to my ears. They all played their characters to the likings that I prefer. Sometimes I see characters played a bit different, but each and everyone killed it! The dancing, oh let me tell you - the dancing was the best I have seen in ANY and all performances I have attended all over the world !!!!! JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR is a MUST SEE !!!! Thank you for the remarkable experience. I am a TRUE JCSS JUNKIE !!!! and pleased with every bit of this performance !!!!

Absolutely fabulous performance! Have listened to the music for years but this was our first live Jesus Christ Superstar experience. We have a new favorite musical! The performers, both singers and dancers, were exceptional and combined for a wonderful show. Would highly recommend and look forward to attending again someday!

One of the best musicals in Chicago in a long time. Absolutely incredible.

Neither of us was able to make out most of the lyrics, which took away significantly from the enjoyment. We were in the loge of the Cadillac Palace Theater. I saw the original production in the '70's, and did not experience this problem (no, we are not hard of hearing). The second half of the show was powerful, but not enough to make up for the acoustics, and not enough for me to recommend seeing it this time around.

I'm 63 years old and this was the first time ever seeing Jesus Christ Superstar ... not even on TV. Of course we all know the story but to see it acted out in the rock opera genre was moving. I would give each and every performer 5-stars. Such talent! My only suggestion for improvement ... I feel the sound system could have been better. I had a hard time understanding all of the words that were being sung and had to watch (the very small) closed caption screen which then took my eyes off the stage.

This company for the 50th tour beautifully brought JCS to the stage. The leads and the ensemble are so amazing! Prepare to be blown away! Came for the music, came back for the entire thing 5 separate times, that’s how magnificent it was.

It was the best musical I have ever been and I have been to a lot of events, concerts, musicals and plays and this was the best experience I had this year so far. 5 stars and highly recommended. The cast, music, musicians, choreography, and the singing was on pint. Judas who was played by a woman was so so so good. Bravo!
