Thoroughly enjoyed this show! The live band was sooo good. The acting/dancing/singing had lots of energy from start to finish.
Love attending The MD Theater and all of the shows I have seen were amazing.
The show was great, the kids in the show were amazing singers, and loved the theater.
Not for Children. Some Sex, Drugs, and foul Language. So beware of that. Some people did bring some young kids. however any green day fan will love the music and the play.
The music was very good but loud and made it hard to hear the performers at times. There were also technical issues with microphones going in and out during the performance. A couple of the performers voices weren't strong enough for the songs as well. Overall they had good energy, musicians were great but some of the energy died after intermission.
It was alright except for the guitars on stage where being played like a air guitar, in other words they weren't! It may just be me, but it bugged me. That's it there was other things but I am just going to say this play was all over the place and wouldn't see it again.
It was fantastic. The energy of the performers was contagious. The singing and music was spot on. Totally loved it
I went in expecting one thing and ended up getting blown away by the sheer energy of the show.
I've been waiting since 2008 when I first heard about this musical to see it. Definitely worth the wait and such an amazing show. Could really tell the cast brought their all and loved how much it truly in visioned Green Day and what their American Idiot album was all about.
