    Exile--Great Again!!

by SuziQ on 4/24/24Brown County Music Center - Nashville

We try to see Exile any time they come within traveling distance (even if it requires an overnight stay). They are still performing at the top of their game, even after all these years! We love their music and the show they put on! Venue was fairly new and very nice. They had a lot of helpers, in the parking lot to keep everyone safe as well as inside the venue to help you find your seat location. We will see Exile again and we would go to this venue again!

    60 Yrs of Exile

by Bsky on 4/23/24Brown County Music Center - Nashville

My BFF n I headed to see Exile in Nashville, IN last Sat night. The new venue in Nashville is a beautiful building. I believe someone said it seats 2000 or 2500 people. 1st time I’d been there. But the band was the greatest. For an older band they still got it. Unlike some other bands where the leads were loosing their mojo. We had VIP parking right at the front door. We got inside n found our seats. Down front in the pit. 2nd row from the stage. One of the lead singers just so happens to be Les Taylor who has been with Exile since 1975 I believe he said. Well, Les is my BFF’s uncle. No we didn’t get free tickets even tho he said he could have got them for us. No big deal. It was a surprise to him that my BFF was even there. She didn’t call to tell him. He was excited to see her as we were to see him. The band played some of the older songs, songs they had wrote for other artist who took their songs to top of the chart. Hewie Lewis n Alabama was just 2 of the bands who did so. They wrote several in their 60 yrs. N they played songs off their new album. Go out n getcha a CD or whatever you do nowadays n enjoy some great music. I wouldn’t steer ya wrong. After the band quit playing for the night Les walked over to the edge of the stage n said come on back stage. (Or we thought he said backstage. When we could go back Les wasn’t there told someone he’d be back. So we stood n waited. Finally one of the other band members phone rang. We heard him say yes they are backstage waiting on you. He told us he had said come out to the motorhome. Oops Didn’t matter really, I finally got to meet the famous Les Taylor n my BFF got to visit with her uncle. What a great man he was too with a God given voice that’s awesomesauce!!. N the other band members were very nice to us as well. We didn’t get to visit long bc they were hitting the road after they were done here to Virginia. I had a hard time going to sleep bc the music kept playing over n over in my head!! What a fantastic night n fantastic band!!! Can’t wait to see them again.

    Exile - Ft Smith, AR

    by Joyce on 8/16/23

These guys were incredible. The crowd size was pathetic. Not sure how big your town is, but you sure missed a great night of continuous hits. Usually, bands lose some of the voice quality after so many years of singing, but not these guys. If you see that they are coming to your area, don’t miss out like Ft Smith did. We drove 3 1/2 hours from Kansas and it was definitely worth the drive. Incredible, incredible show. Thanks, Exile.

    Just like I remember…

    by Packrat on 8/14/23

It was very enjoyable. The instrumentals were very clean and precise. The drummer appeared to have his eyes closed most of the time but consistently provided the framework for the others to build on . There were no wild theatrics or dazzling visual effects to distract from the music that I have enjoyed for so long. It was a delightful trip down memory lane. The only surprise was the empty seats! The word must have not got around.
