I haven't seen Saturday Night Fever movie in years. I had the album and knew every song so seeing the play brought back great memories. You wanted to get up and dance along. The cast was very talented. Lots of FUN!

    Brings back memories

My wife and I met in a Disco back in the 70-'s and still really love the music. This rendition was very good, even though the acoustics could have been better.

    okay show

by Orracle on 4/11/17Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

The cast overall was very talented but WAY too old to be playing 19-20 years olds. Aguilar (Tony Manero) was a good dancer and singer but just not realistic as a 19 year old guy. The costumes were mediocre for the most part. Only the leads had many costume changes. Set design was good--nice use of the two basic backgrounds.

    Entertaining!

by Dustyrecords on 4/9/17Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

Saturday Night Fever was one of my favorites and I felt it would be extremely difficult to execute this stage production but I found it very entertaining. I only wish Staying Alive had been included more during the performance.

Saturday Night Fever was just like the movie

by Ellesgrammy on 4/5/17Drury Lane Theatre Oakbrook Terrace - Oakbrook Terrace

When you hear Saturday Night Fever you immediately think of Travolta. Those are some difficult shoes to fill. Also, you hope that nothing in the musical is changed from the move. While nobody can duplicate exactly, Travolta's fine moves, the actor who played Tony Manero did an awesome job of engaging the audience with his mannerisms, voice and moves! The production was done extremely well and the story line stayed with the movie. Everyone in the cast diid a great job! The venue couldn't have been better!
