This musical was great. My wife and I had so much fun the two hour show felt like 10 minutes
I am a fan of the Bee Gee's and the movie, "Saturday Night Fever." I expected other fans to attend the show but the audience was filled with Seniors mostly in their 70"s and 80's. The music did not seems to encourage the audience to clap or sing. I felt so out of place and bored. I loved the DJ, I thought the cast was extremely talented, I wish Adrian looked more like the real character.
It was an uneven performance. Some songs were done well ithers were mediocre. Same with the dancing.
Great show. Very close to movie. Singing was very good.
Very cute revival of the Saturday Night Fever movie.
My wife & I have always been fond of the original movie & decided to go see this play. We were quite pleased with the overall performance. This kept us entertained from beginning to end. We highly recommend this show.
The show would have been much more enjoyable had the person operating the mixing board done a better job. My wife had I had difficulty hearing the spoken portions of the play.
This show was outstanding. Very talented cast. We were surprised by the lobby area, however. There were only 2 ticket takers and no real line. People were pushing each other out of the way to enter the theater. I've seen better organization at a community theatre.
This is a fun musical - well done with a solid cast. The lead guy is fantastic!! Cute idea for the Drury Lane to transform the auditorium lighting with colors.
The dancing was fantastic. The lead was special. Wonderful show!
It was just such a fun and upbeat experience. The lead, Tony, was such a natural. I didn't want the musical to end! The next day I went and saw a Broadway show in Chicago at the Oriental Theatre, which was amazing, of course. But I honestly enjoyed Saturday Nighy Fever better.
I expected for the guy who played John Travolta to be a better dancer and he did not look cool enough to play the part
This was an energetic show. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is that there was not big BANG ending. I was hoping the dance that Travolta did in the movie would have been the ending.. but it wasnt:(
The musical was a walk down memory lane...the acting/ singing...mediocre at best
This show is colorful, exciting, and great entertainment. The cast is loaded with talented singers and dancers whose energy is evident from start to finish. Perhaps the best part of the show is the never seen pit band who flawlessly perform one Bee Gee hit after another and are just as at ease rocking into the Earth Wind and Fire sets. Costuming, particularly for the females made the stage light up in colors. Both the male and female leads were excellent, particularly on the vocals. The supporting actors exceeded the leads in dancing skill, which is a tribute to them, not a dig at the leads who were very good, and the solos performed by characters playing "Annette" and "Bobby" were the best vocals of the night. Overall, this is a great performance and a wonderful evening's entertainment.
Enjoyed the performance. Adrian was great as Tony!
It's hard to say anything negative about a performance at Drury Lane. I've always had a good experience. The seats are comfortable, the dinner is delicious, the ambience is rich. But--during Saturday Night Fever, the sound kept cutting out in the first half and there was static. The set: if someone isn't familiar with the story, the elevated scenes are confusing. Are they on a bridge, a tower, a building? What does Bobby fall off of? I'll recommend the show to friends with these issues in mind. Ending on a positive note: Erica Stepha's voice is phenomenal.
The show was good but the characters and Mike should be a little louder they were kind of hard to hear over the orchestra
