Great music, great performances, and an imaginative approach to storytelling. We had a marvelous time learning about this incredible tale. We attended the very last performance of the run, which unfortunately meant we were too late to the party to be able to recommend to others they should go check it out. Hopefully it will make a return.
This musical, based on a true story, with an excellent use of two hours. Story is well told well paced and entertaining. Songs are new and unusual for a musical. Small guest of characters does an excellent job portraying many different people and many different different circumstances. Most impressive was how the main character looked dead for almost an hour. I highly recommend it, no longer in the New York area. So if you missed it, hope it comes to Broadway at some point.
Really liked this show - Great music & cast. Very quirky & different - I believe a small theatre serves it well - and it's not for everyone - but I really liked it - and so did my overall audience.
This was a great musical adventure. It was a fun, fast paced and witty musical that had just the right amount of irreverence. I really enjoyed it! So glad it will be preserved on audible.
What a great show! Each actor was spectacular, great songs, insane plot, the set was creative, band was fabulous, loved every minute!
the show was smart funny, catchy, moving, and delightful. the story is incredible. the music and lyrics are brilliant. it was poignant. it was about life and death in equal measure. it should be on broadway, no doubt. LOVED IT!
The tale of the dead outlaw was fascinating. Wonderfully told through the great music and uniformly excellent ensemble. I really liked the lead who played the outlaw. The audience I saw it with jumped to their feet to give the production a standing ovation. Fun and exciting. Something different and so well executed.
The most inspired piece of theater anyone has dreamed up since Hamilton.
Terrific. The cast, the music, the movement and the story. Hilarious and fun. Move this show to Broadway.
