Since premiering at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre in 2003, WICKED has been mesmerizing audiences and breaking records, becoming the second highest-grossing musical in Broadway history with over $1.4 billion in tickets sold. Composer-lyricist Stephen Schwartz and book writer Winnie Holzman’s magical “untold true story of the Witches of Oz” has been nominated for 10 Tony Awards — winning three — including Idina Menzel for Best Actress in a Musical as heroine Elphaba. With a captivating score that includes the hits “Defying Gravity” and “For Good,” the WICKED cast album won Best Musical Show Album at the 47th Grammy Awards, with Time magazine cheering, “If every musical had a brain, a heart, and the courage of WICKED, Broadway really would be a magical place.” In addition to Menzel, the star-studded original cast included Kristin Chenoweth as Glinda, Norbert Leo Butz as Fiyero, Joel Grey as the Wizard, Carole Shelley as Madame Morrible, Christopher Fitzgerald as Boq, Michelle Federer as Nessarose, and William Youmans as Doctor Dillamond. WICKED is also the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.

Incredible show, amazing efects and actors. The songs are incredibles
Enjoyed the entire experience! Engaging and excited performance.
Having seen the show in London a decade ago, my son and I were looking forward to seeing it on Broadway. It did not disappoint! The vocals were amazing as were the acoustics. I whole heartedly recommend seeing this show.
We have seen Wicked before in Fort Lauderdale and it was very good. Seeing it in NY was a step up. Well done!
What an amazing performance by the actors. The storyline has great depth.
The show was amazing, the cast did not disappoint. However when I purchased the tickets online I was under the impression that I was sitting in orchestra but ended up sitting in the mezzanine. I still loved the show but i wish the website was a little more clear on where the seats are.
I will never view The original Wizard of Oz the same way again! It was an Outstanding and “timely” performance!
Best show on Broadway.. the music is incredible, the show is gorgeous and funny.. costumes are AMAZING!!!! I'm in love with Wicked!!💚💚💚
Not a bad seat in the house. Excellent matinee performance! Worth every penny. The grandkids were glued to their seats!
I really had no idea what to expect from this show and i was blown away. The music is absolutely beautiful. The storyline is fabulous and the acting is exceptional.
My first Broadway play—an incredible experience! Our seats were very good. It was a bit tricky finding the theater, but once we were inside it was a very welcoming environment. Such an amazing evening!
My family enjoyed the over all experience. The tickets were easy to pick up and the staff was so welcoming and helpful. They had a great variety of merchandise to pick from. Great place, we would go again.
By far one of the best shows around! Gives an alternate look into the lives of the characters. Great for all ages. Music is phenomenal
Great show! Enjoyed it a lot! Theater was nice & close to our hotel.
We came to see Wicked with a group of seven people ranging in ages from 6-67. We were all blown away by the performances! The costumes were awesome, the stage was amazing, and the voices were out of this world!!!!
There was a lot of hype about seeing Wicked, and when we sat down in our seats we couldn’t help but wonder if all we had just paid was going to be worth it. IT TOTALLY WAS! The show was electrifying. I was completely captivated, and even though I have listened to and learned the music over the years I didn’t really know the full story. It is a very well written play, with an all star cast!
After trying Today Tix & TKTS for last-minute inventory, I was surprised to find an even better deal through Ticketmaster. Same-day tickets to Wicked in NYC for my family. VERY reasonably priced. Front mezzanine seats. Fantastic view & the show was wonderful. Even better... it was the lead actresses Broadway debut & she knocked it out of the park!
The show was amazing! The cast gave me goosebump! I love how they made it there own too!
I have seen over a hundred shows, but THIS may have been the very best I have ever seen!!!
Went with my two children and daughters friend. It was her first broadway show. It was amazing. I saw it six years ago but thought this performance was about better.
