The talent was very, very good. Storyline a bit weak, but hey I can't write. It made me laugh and I wanted to laugh. I miss Mr. Mercury.
Absolutely incredible is all I can say.. Thought it was the story of Queen and not a rock opera built on their music.. Told all my friends it is a must see..
Great play! When i was,nt laughing, I was singing. When I was'nt singing I was dancing in my seat! Sometimes I would be doing all three. I really, really, really, want to see ethos one many more times!
An immensely talented cast, a fun and quirky story, and of course, rockin' music combine to bring the house down in this awesome show. Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys music, and can wink at the foibles of modern day sound. We admired the uniqueness of the stage set up with the band as an integral part of the action.
No storyline!!! Tried to put the music into a play without having a real story. The music was good (of course it was Queen). The dancing was entertaining. But, unless you are a fan of Queen's music, this would have been a complete bust.
The performances and music were GREAT! The story.... well trying to create a story from a bunch of Queen songs was probably tough! That is until they (more than likely) turned the responsibility over to what had to have been a group of 12 & 13 year olds. Hence the idea for Globalsoft!! Horrible story line! GREAT PERFORMANCES by the Cast and Band!!!
I am a huge Queen fan so I was looking forward to seeing their musical. I was completely blown away by this performance. It was so much better than I expected, especially after reading reviews. ALL THE PERFORMERS WERE EXCEPTIONAL!!! INCLUDING THE MUSICIANS!!! I absolutely loved the harmonies between the male and female singers. It was beautiful. I really liked the humorous parts, really funny. I am a sci-fi fan, too, so the sci-fi storyline was very interesting. I did not particularly like all the pelvic thrusting which was over-done. The choreography was fantastic. I don't think this musical was very easy for the performers to do. It seemed complicated, between the singing and the dancing required. Tears came to my eyes toward the end when I thought how Freddie Mercury would be so proud to have his music performed so well.
GREAT SHOW!! GREAT MUSIC!! Dialog was fascinating.
Excellent performance! Music was awesome! Audience was on their feet for the end!
I had zero expectations coming in. I got tickets because I like Queen's music. The story line was creatively decent, the two main characters wer really good singers and the overall music was excellent.
Energy was great, the singer were awesome...great show
Music was okay, but how can you go wrong with Queen. Play was fair at best.
It was a strange premise, but it worked. We didn't care for a few of the voices (none of liked the Killer Queen's), but Galileo more than made up for it.
Unbelievable singing voices in this cast- though Galileo and Scaramouche definitely overshadowed the villains. Scaramouche's solo was just unforgettable. It was an amazing experience because it was very, very funny, yet it also had some really sad moments. I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves the music of Queen. Audience participation is encouraged (particularly during we will rock you, of course) and really the whole night was just so fun. Just as a caution, however, there is heavy use of strobe lights and flashing lights during the first act which made it a bit hard to see the stage at some points. Act two is much better than act one, so stick around for the whole show. It was cool to see the band while the musical was going on. Basically, the cast is very talented and the show makes for a very fun and entertaining night.
Great vocals in the lead roles. Band was amazing. Enjoyed the play and energy that went into it. Would highly recommend.
We left early. No plot trite and silly. Strobe lights were painful. I would actually like a refund
The performers, especially the leads, were very good. It was too bad the show itself was so poorly written. The concept was just dumb and so dated. To be fair, many in the audience appeared to enjoy the show. This is the first time I've seen a show and given a bad review and I see a fair number of plays and musicals. I like Queen's music and the performances of it were well-done. It's too bad we had to sit through the stupid story and cringe-worthy dialog to enjoy the music.
The music was very fun. All were recognizable songs. The music overpowered the singing in some cases but overall it was an enjoyable high energy show.
The play was very entertaining, but I'm not sure it was worth the ticket price. The male lead was great. I really enjoyed the actor who played Buddy Holly. If not for that part, it may have stalled or struggled at times.
This Rock Opera was amazing. The songs were spot on, appropriate to the story. It was so funny in parts and sad in others. Current with happenings in the music world.
