    Good Show - Great Music

by Tdkblu on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Queen's music is incredible. The songs are as good now as they were years ago. I loved that a show was built around the songs however.......... the plot of the show itself was a little weak. Four of us went and all agreed that the dancing ( a little risque) and the music were fantastic, but the actual "story" wasn't the best. Still in all it was very entertaining. I am just glad we saw a matinee and I purchased the less expensive seats. It was not really worth $200 for main floor.

We Will Rock You...Right to Sleep

by thetwoj on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The music is awesome, of course it is, that's the reason you buy the tickets, you know exactly what you're going to hear. The casting was spot on (with the exception of the Queen) this musical didn't lack talent. What it did lack was a book that made it's audience enjoy the story as much as the music. We Will Rock You was nothing more than a Queen cover concert, which is fine, if you aren't a typical theater goer. Otherwise, I thought it was a complete rip off of a better written book called Rock of Ages. We Will Rock You will hit big with its demographic of young kids who know nothing of a great musical production and are there to hear Queen. For those of you with theater experience, skip it.

The story line was a little off the wall. I could not catch all the dialouge. But I do like Queen's songs. I think some of the songs could have been a little more powerful.

    Good, good

by Marngirl on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Really enjoyed this! The story is weak, but the music is strong, and the voices of most of the cast were fantastic. Unfortunately, Killer Queen was awful and she had some of the best music. Replace her and all is good.

    We Will Rock You Rocked!

by DanKlep on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Music was awesome, especially the final song, Bohemian Rhapsody. Story was corny and made no sense. Scaramouche and Galileo had great voices, and my favorite character was Buddy Holly.

    Best Stage Show Ever

    by grumpyau1 on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

    Fun Evening

by casully on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This is a good show that is appropriate for the whole family. I think 7-year-olds would get just as much of the pop culture references as an older person. Good humor and writing.

    We. Will Rock You.........fantastic!

by Momoffiveq on 10/30/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The Performane of WWRY was absolutely fantastic. Several years ago we saw it in London and patiently waited for the show to come to Chicago. We were not disappointed, the show was even better and more entertaining than that first time in London. The actors really owned their rolls and the vocals were fantastic. I once again will patiently wait for the return of WWRY. Amazing!

We will rock you simply unforgettable!

    by bigs85 on 10/29/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

I'm a great fan of Queen, so it's simple to say that this musical has amazing songs...but a musical is more: it's recitation, it's choreography, it's scenic design, it's the ability of the actors and the musicians to transmit emotions to the public. Well, this musical and this cast has all of this and more...it's designed to switch perfectly between noble and high moments and funny scenes. The ability of the cast is simply awesome and all singers/actors have wonderful and thrilling voices.

    Chicago WWRY -Hit and Misses

    by WI4Queen on 10/29/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

Originally saw WWRY in London a few years ago and was blown away by the production we saw. While this production was fine, it certainly lacked some of the vocal dynamics of the London version. The microphones of the performers seemed off - lacking the intensity. Galileo - Brian Justin Crum delivered a strong performance and well as Pops - Ryan Knowles who actually surpassed the London "Pops". He really delivered a standout performance, Scaramouch - Ruby Lewis started strong but seemed strained at times and I think there could of been better chemistry between her and Galileo. The biggest disappointment was Jacqueline Arnold as the Killer Queen...definitely not the caliber that it should of been. The London Version had someone who had a powerful and incredible voice. I also preferred the London version humor...this version had too many pop culture references....did we really need to hear about twerking?

    Go See This!!!!!!

    by CAL59 on 10/29/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

This show was phenomenal. The music, singers, and story were out of this world. It was funny, sad, and inspiring. There were 2 or 3 show stopping numbers. If you are a fan of Queen you have to see this! This show is the definition of entertainment. I hope it runs on Broadway. I would definitely see it again.

    Rockin' Out Great

by MellowYellow on 10/29/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

The performers were all very talented - as singers, actors, and dancers. The plot is a little thin, but that isn't what you go to this type show is it? The songs fit the action. The songs/music filled the theater and had the audience rocking. We were a group of 8 55-67 year-olds, and we all loved it. Would see it again.

We will rock you achieved their mission.

by Cleeto on 10/29/13Cadillac Palace - Chicago

It started out sort of slow and lame, but about the second or third song, they kicked it into high gear, and it stayed there throughout the remainder of the show.
