    Alamodoom DJ Noise

    by Jimmy P on 11/27/23

Great game along with great company. Season ticket holder of 4 seats. Had some guests to first time game. Too bad we couldn't visit. Overhead noise from sound system DJ was unbelievably annoying. DJ, and even music selection, was consistently poor. Could not hear the home or visiting pep bands due to competing with DJ. We are suppose to get entertained. Instead went home with an ear ache. Home crowd was awesome. Next time ask DJ to stay home. Please

    Great game

by Willy Jo on 10/17/23Alamodome - San Antonio

Watching a UTSA football at Alamodome is the only way to enjoy football. Great seats and great fans, but needs better food options.

    Tight fit

by Dogtown on 9/20/23Alamodome - San Antonio

The seats at the Alamo dome suck! Small and tight. Bought a cap from UTSA merchandise booth and couldn’t return it because I had found another cap I liked better at the next stand. Horrible way of doing business. Made my experience disappointing.

    good experience

    by S.V on 9/13/23Alamodome - San Antonio

First time attending a college football game with kids. I like the energy. I just don't understand why cocktails could not be served when beer could. People can still get drunk with beer, especially the ones that kept going for another beer. The lines were extremely long for every concession stand. If I am waiting a long time for a hot dog, grabbing my own hot dog, getting my own water, why are they asking for a tip? The tipping culture is getting extreme. If they were bringing my hot dog to my seat without me having to wait in line, that deserves a tip. Me getting everything and waiting in a long line does not deserve a tip. Tip to who?

Great game - minus poor sportsmanship from UTSA fans.

by Justhereforhalftime on 9/13/23Alamodome - San Antonio

Had great seats! I chose the 4th row in section 340 (aisle seats) for $10 the day before the game. Wasn’t expecting much since I was only there to watch the halftime show anyways. To my surprise, the seats were amazing! You have a great view of the field, could see all of the dancers, sideline cheerleaders, coaches/etc., and they didn’t look like ants either. We had a great time until I found out that the, “heart of San Antonio” is kind of gray, maybe black when UTSA fans were booing the opposing team if they had injured players on the field. They booed to every call made against a UTSA player, the booed for the opposing dance team, annnnd the list goes on. I expected more from a large school that has such an impact on the community, especially since so many fans (even San Antonio Spurs players) were there to watch this old town rival get the play again on the turf. We started to leave 5 minutes to the end of the game and we watched the last 3 minutes from the lobby television. I was disgusted with how the UTSA players acted on the field in those last few minutes. They stood there and cursed at the opposing players, pointed fingers in their faces and showed no dignity to allow the other team to continue playing for 3 more minutes because of their fear of possibly losing. They chose the easy way out and the nasty was to win. Overall, my seats for the game had a great view, they ran out of food and water during the 2nd quarter, UTSA played their hearts out (even if they injured 10-12 of the opponent teams players) and the opposing team went home empty handed. (Which was expected since it costs so much to open up and run the Alamodome all day long😉)

    Great game

by RMK on 9/12/23Alamodome - San Antonio

For the 2nd largest crowd in school history it really didn’t feel like it. It was easy going through security and ticket scan about 40 minutes before kickoff. They had a band outside before the game. Upper deck seats between the 30s had a great view. Here are the criticisms, that hopefully the utsa and some people can consider. 1. The music was terribly loud. I’m not sure why they even need music over the PA when there were two college bands. It made it seem more like a pro game vs a college game. 2. Concessions were super slow. I know they don’t pay the workers nearly enough, but geez I spent 25 minutes in a line and that wasn’t even at half or between quarters. I left my seats middle of the 2nd quarter hoping to beat the crowds. Seriously Alamo dome, you only have to sell two nachos per hour to pay a worker $16 a hour. Cough it up and pay people so they are fully staffed and actually take the job seriously. 3. Concession quality was poor. I know it’s stadium food and I’m not expecting fancy stuff, but it’s fairly difficult to mess up stadium nachos yet they did. Chips were fine but the cheese sauce was cold, chunky and tasted like someone decided it’d be a good idea to put pickle juice in it.

Great Experience but parking is a nightmare

by DRC on 9/12/23Alamodome - San Antonio

The game was great, everything around the venue was amazing from the tailgating and atmosphere of it all but the Alamodome parking is ridiculous for such a big venue. And they always run out of parking. That never happens at AT&T center.
