TRIBAL SEEDS IN CONCERT:

SoCal reggae rockers Tribal Seeds have shared the stage with some of the genre's biggest names on their journey from local heroes to nationally acclaimed headline act. Taking the stage with a surplus of good vibes, the band never fails to leave fans feeling irie at their live shows, putting songs like "Love Psalm" into practice with feel-good performances that span their catalog. With fifth album Representing all set to drop, the band will treat fans to another round of vibed-out shows on the Representing Spring Tour 2014.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Brothers Steven Jacobo and Tony-Ray Jacobo formed Tribal Seeds in the mid-'00s, making their self-titled album debut in 2008 to a spot on iTunes Best Reggae Albums list. 2009 follow-up The Harvest was a similar success, making its way to No. 5 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and setting the stage for extensive touring. The band's spiritual lyrics and positive message were a hit on the road, leading to appearances alongside giants of the genre including the Wailers, Stephen Marley, and Rebelution. In 2011, their EP Soundwaves peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Reggae Charts, paving the way for the band's continued touring and a highly anticipated fifth album due out in 2014.

    Over sold

by Browne on 5/8/23Ace of Spades - Sacramento

The show could’ve been better. I was really excited to see Steve back with the band but I was a disappointed at how short his set was. The venue would’ve been good but they packed us in like sardines. Don’t think I will be back at Ace of Spades for another concert.

Show was great, venue was not

by Tlove77 on 5/8/23Ace of Spades - Sacramento

Although the bands were amazing, I will not return to this venue again. In 35 years of attending large and small shows, this was the most crowded I have ever felt. The venue oversold this show by about a 100 people, and then people were shoving their way to the front, and pushing us that got there early to the back. Then we had to deal with the venue security telling us every 5 minutes that we were over their "line" and needed to move. Like where are we supposed to move to? I tried moving about 5 times which also interfered with my ability to enjoy the show and felt like everywhere I went was not an acceptable place for the security. Tribal seeds rocked it though and Vana Liya and Inna Vision were awesome too.

    Tribal Seeds Own the Stage!!!

by Carasta on 10/29/19Culture Room - Ft Lauderdale

Tribal Seeds are the best roots band to hit the scene since the Prophet Bob Marley. They have an eclectic Reggae offering bringing a heartfelt, high energy show that will not disappoint. With deep talent, multiple singers, multiple languages, and a variety of instruments, they will rock you and root you deep in the message of Jah. No doubt Tribal Seeds will leave you feeling a positive vibration for many moons to come!

    Alright

by Datguy on 10/2/19Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

Groundation should of closed the show first off, matisyahu barely played anything off of the Stubbs album wich was advertised that he would do, tribal seeds always kill it but the sound guy sucked bass wasn’t even on for the first song! I’ve been to many shows at the shell and that was by far the softest sound I’ve ever heard seen multiple guys go to the sound guy to tell him turn it up!

    Disappointed

by Ron on 10/1/19Waikiki Shell - Honolulu

Was really disappointed in the amount of time that the first two bands played and the down time between bands the music was to soft and not consistent but more so I was most disappointed in Matisyahu he didn’t play any of his music that I thought I was actually going there to here!! I wish that Groundation played more than 50 minutes!!!!!!!!
