The play was awesome. Loretta Devine really blessed my heart.
Nothing new. Singing and silliness. Singing was great but there was far too much. I was sucked in by the names in the cast. I can't really judge the acting because there wasnt much acting in it. Thought it would be good to get out do something I haven't done in a while and support this type of show. I really thought it would be worthwhile since there were only a few seats left but I should've saved money and stayed home.
Cast of The First Lady of Zion was simply Terrific!
I luved all the singing, especially Abraham McDonald and Kenny Latimore. The only thing missing was a song by Jakee'.
It was a good play. Mostly it had a good message and some humorous parts. I did expect more wasn't too impress. Message was encouraging.
Absolutely loved the play! We have a great time, and laughed all the way through!
It was a dissapointment. I expected the singing to be top notch.Shanice Wilson was on her game. Act II was definitely better then Act I. There were better singers and the message was more heartfelt in ActI. The money I paid was definitely not worth it. The theatre parking was a nightmare and my knees are still in pain from the cramped sits.I took my Mother and a friend and they were not pleased with this play at all. Take some lessons from Tyler Perry and maybe your next play will be a 5 star event.
Great performance, excellent singing, perfect storyline
