The Aristocrats are the best live band to see due to their incredible musicianship, fantastic sense of humor and the improvisational nature of their live performances. I saw all the shows this tour and will see as many as I can this summer!
Terrible venue. Went to see an amazing band and one of the best drummers in the world. I have played drums for 43 years and was very excited to see him play. Sold out show and all I could see was the guitarists hair.
Music was great, venue was awful. No place to sit, no visibility of the stage at all. Couldn't see any of the performers. Might as well stay home and listen to a CD.
The band’s sound was amazing. My only concern was the size of the venue (The Marquis), but even the staff managed to keep things under control.
The Aristocrats are an incredibly talented, playful, and warm-hearted trio, whose beautiful music will transform your inner world while you rock your brains out! So phenomenal, my mind melted and I was moved to tears trying to grasp the wonders my ears were telling my brain. Truly loved this show and anyone would be lucky to experience it. The sound quality at the Gramercy was on point, and the aesthetics of the theatre are quite elegant and imbued in the right combinations of colors and design for a great atmosphere.
Guthrie Govan is one of the world's foremost guitar players and Marco Minnemann is a great drummer, but it's really a shame they don't play in a real band. This is not a real band. I am a big fan of progressive music, but I was mostly bored listening to the Aristocrats. The music has very little feel and strangely they aren't very tight together despite being great individual players. It really seems like a group that does not have much experience putting on live shows. For some reason they feel the need to announce every single song with a painful anecdote. Beforehand I wondered why the show was seated, but it was immediately obvious. There is no energy.
Saw these guys for my 17th birthday. The best guitar playing and best drumming I have seen in person. Fantastic show, great set and hilarious commentary. My only complaint is that after the show, Marcos and Bryan came out to meet the remaining crowd but Guthrie just stayed in the back. I really wanted to meet him because he is my favorite guitarist. We told them it was a my birthday and I really wanted to meet Guthrie but no one really did anything. Still a great show, the set was great. City winery, Nashville 7/28/22
The Aristocrats show was a high flying event with top notch playing and performances. A great night of music at one of Buffalo NYs premier venues.
Instrumental abilities beyond comprehension on the part of both Travis Larson Band and the Aristocrats. Marco's dynamic control is the best I have ever seen in a drummer. If you have never seen either of these bands, you need to get there.
