Sting is a 17-time Grammy-winning artist and a founding member of the pioneering new wave band The Police. Born in Wallsend, England, Gordon Sumner, a.k.a. Sting, became one of the best-selling artists of all-time as the bassist and frontman of The Police. The band released five studio albums and six Top 10 singles, including the Sting-penned No. 1 hit “Every Breath You Take,” before disbanding in 1986. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, and their 2008 reunion tour was the third highest-grossing tour of the ’00s. Since releasing his 1985 solo debut The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Sting has been recognized with a British CBE and an Emmy, featured at the Kennedy Center Honors and inducted to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He has also received four Oscar nominations, and his 2014 Broadway musical The Last Ship, which was inspired by his childhood and featured music and lyrics by Sting, was nominated for two Tony Awards. A constant experimenter of genres including jazz, pop, classical and world music, Sting won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album in 2019 with Shaggy for their 2018 collaborative album 44/876.

Sting 2024 Tour Dates:
Sting heads out on his 2024 North American tour in September. After kicking off at the Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, the tour will hit select North American cities through November 2024.

Great set list, band and performer at the wonderful Hollywood Bowl. Only bummer is the no glass/cans nonsense that means taking forever to get in and discourages picnics inside the Bowl. Really time to work on this policy.
Sting did an outstanding job I thought. Brought back a lot of memories with the Police covers and his songs were perfectly done. Didn't really care for his however.
I really enjoyed this venue as its definitely more intimate & very clean. Parking is super chill too. Sting still kicks booty!! Sound was great & the facilities easy!
He was absolutely the best. Sec 110 were to far left. Screens in the way.
The venue was all around great. Hospitable, organized and great seating arrangements. But Sting was the STAR of the night. Played his greatest hits and didn’t miss a beat!
“World Music” to me, refers to Sting’s repertoire containing music genres beyond the commercial labels ‘rock’, ‘heavy rock’, or ‘white music’ given to him by promoters, record labels, etc. He is a soulmate to many of us who appreciate music, beats, rhythms & dances from many parts of the world !! His commercially successful songs may be generational for a time, but, all in all, his music is enduring.
Sting was as fantastic as he was 40+ years ago but the volume headed into overly loud. Acrisure is a beautiful venue with a safe, well-lit parking lot with easy highway access. Whoever manages this venue knows what they're doing!
Sting is the best! Having seen him about 10 times, I can honestly say, he just keeps getting better! Love, love, love!

What a great performance here in the Palm Springs Desert. Ahh the songwriter that gave the audience the opportunity to enjoy the history about how the song came to be. His band is crazy awesome, backup singer are extremely talented. Sting’s voice was excellent. We danced and bobbed to the beat all night long. Thank you Sting, you have always been one of my top 10 favorites. Cheers
Wasn’t to sure on going at first but hearing a few commentaries, I decided to go. Definitely worth it, Sting really puts on a performance. The only disappointing part is the opener Joe Summer, unfortunately.
Sting at 72 is a force to be reckoned with. For two hours he wow'd the audience with hit after hit in a voice that was reminiscent of his earliest days. The fact that his son Joe was his opening act and then performed beside's him for King of Pain among others. A fabulous night to be cherished that we were in the audience.

The venue was clean and neat. Entry and exit were surprisingly smooth. Amenities were well appointed.
Fantastic concert and venue. Easy to get in and out of. Clean arena. Downside is that I was charged for parking twice and the 2 ladies sitting behind us talked loudly throughout the entire show, oblivious we could hear everything which was frustrating. Sting sounded incredible. Highly recommend.
Sting is an outstanding writer. He did a great show. His energy and voice is still great.
Great concert, his voice was as perfect as I remember when I was young! I was just hoping for more songs from the past when with the Police! Acoustics fantastic! Show fantastic! Singers the hole band great! Acusure arena was nice but they should invest in lighting at bottom of seating on isles so people can see the letters and numbers on seats! Great show!
