About

STAIND IN CONCERT:

With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade.Ā  Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."

"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."

"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."

    Spiritual Awakening

by Natty on 4/28/24Prudential Center - Newark

As an alcoholic for 33 yrs of my 51 yrs existing in life, Aaron's voice spoke to my heart. His lyrics & passion expressed relevant to my struggles with addiction, the music of Staind Aaron Lewis has been my rock living sober since February 2017. Thank you, AARON, for sharing your experience, strength and, hope so beautifully and simple from your heart and soul, expressed Pain with your lyrics. I got sober with your voice, speaking my Pain. I love ya & the band. Thank youšŸ™šŸ§”šŸ’›

    Great show poor information

    by Iris6136 on 4/28/24Prudential Center - Newark

Rock the rock was awesome but if the bands were listed in the order of appearance it would have been better and I wouldnā€™t have missed Aryun Jones whom I really wanted to see. Other than that everything was good.

Too Much (Not in a good way)

by Bella Rosa on 4/28/24Prudential Center - Newark

I have most of Staind music with Aaron Lewis being the draw for me. This concert was so loud, and the visuals were so distracting and dark in nature, that it was completely unenjoyable for me. I actually bought tickets for this concert specifically to hear Aaron Lewis. Being that Stand was the last in the lineup, we stayed until their performance, but after five hours of waiting for them and the rest of the lineup being so off the charts loud there was no way to enjoy the actual music and the actual singers we left before the end. Honestly, I couldnā€™t even tell if Aaron Lewis sang for them or if it was somebody else , the only performance of the night that I totally enjoyed was a group that I had never heard of which were The Struts. I wouldā€™ve also appreciated if there would have been some sort of pamphlet with the order of the lineup. Half the seats were empty as well.

It was awesome. It was my second time seeing STAIND in concert and the venue is so clean. It reminds me of a smaller version of Red Rocks. The atmosphere at this concert and venue was perfect.
