A major punk band for over two decades, Social Distortion came out of Los Angeles's active hardcore scene of the late '70s and early '80s. Their first album, Mommy's Little Monster, appeared in 1983 and featured the song "Another State of Mind," which aired as one of a few punk videos on mid-'80s MTV. Since then, Social Distortion have further developed their mix of punk and rockabilly with such songs as "Ball and Chain," "Bad Luck" and "Reach for the Sky." To this day, Social Distortion remain one of punk's most exciting and vital bands. Over the course of their career, Social Distortion have brought many venues to capacity, like Observatory North Park and the Mission Ballroom.

They did a cover of Ring Of Fire by Johnny Cash and that was well received but they went on way too long for me with a minuscule amount of energy in the set. They actually told the audience that they were being told to wrap it up and they said “we’re not good at listening to instructions” and proceeded to play a four minute closer.
It was amazing to see the band and they sound great even after all the years. Great energy and amazing interaction with the fans. Enjoyed the mix of new and old songs. Only wish they would’ve played Story of my Life but they still hit the other bangers.
Front the opening band Crime Love to Social D and Bad Religion one of the best show I been in years Great sounds amazing performance from all the bands
I really enjoyed Love Crimes and Bad Religion, but only getting to watch the headliner perform 3 songs kinda sucked. Those three songs were great, but didn't live up to the $400 I spent on merchandise and beer.
Weather iffy all day, and instead of canceling/ postponing the show they made sure to cram it down our throats and tell us rain or shine show was going to go on. Just to to give us a shortened BR show, they forced a quick stage turn over so SD could go on for 4 songs. Greediness had the show just long enough to deny refunds.
The music was great while it lasted, 5 songs and the show was over. It was raining and most of the people were dressed for rain knowing the forecast. After the band played the fifth song they told everyone to leave because of lightning in the area. Not sure where the lightning was, but we didn't ever see it. The venue was packed. Someone made a lot of money.
Severe weather was forecasted for days. It didn’t let up the day of. All the signs were there to reschedule the show. Opening band got a full set. Bad Religion got a much shorter set. Social D only got 4 songs before the venue shut it down due to lightning that everyone knew was coming. No word from the venue since. Seems like they got the bare minimum amount of music in so they didn’t have to give refunds.
The venue was great and the bands we were able to see were great. However, the ticket said rain or shine but then called off the show when it started raining. Uncool.
First and last time at this Venue. They basically stole everyone’s money after ensuring the final band fulfilled the contractual obligation and then evacuated.
