About

Slightly Stoopid was discovered by Sublime’s Bradley Nowell in 1995. Co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald were still in high school in San Diego when they inked a deal with Nowell’s indie label Skunk Records. Fusing rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk, Slightly Stoopid forged their sonic legacy on the road, selling out venues across the world and bringing their SoCal vibes to festivals like Coachella, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits and more. Albums like Everything You Need (2003), Closer to the Sun (2005) and Chronchitis (2007) feature summertime classics “2am” and “Closer to the Sun.”

    Terrible sound

    by deegee on 8/30/23

I was disappointed because the slightly stoopid crew spent a lot of time between the start of their set and end of Sublime with Rome set to check sound. They tested the drums for a few minutes, guitars, microphone, and then the band finally came out and could not hear the singer at all. He sounded like he was under water. It was so bad that we left after the second song.

    THEY KNOW HOW TO PARTY!

    by Shortie on 8/29/23

I've never been to such a mind-blowing concert before! The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying, and the crowd was overflowing with love for the performing bands. I've attended numerous concerts in the past, but this one was truly exceptional. I'm definitely planning on attending their summer concert in Boston from now on. I highly recommend it, and you'll be missing out big time if you let this opportunity slip away again!

The band had an amazing Setlist and the quality of music was outstanding! They kept the crowd going the entire night! Can’t wait to see them again

Consistently one of the best live bands I have ever seen. Phenomenal show for venue and sound. All the acts were top notch.

    Favorite concert of my life.

    by Rob on 8/29/23

Amazing! Great atmosphere, great music, great crowd. Everyone got along, sang along. I got to see my old school favorite acts and the new school hitters. Just great!

    Huh!

    by Slightly bored on 8/29/23

After getting blown away by sublimew/Rome, I sat there wondering why they weren't the headliner! Sat patiently watching slightly stoopid waiting for them to hit their stride but it never happened? They kept trying to pump the audience to no avail, they could not back it up with a worthy performance. Left scratching my head

    Slightly too big

    by Nick on 8/29/23

The set list was excellent. But, I believe the venue is too big for them. Sound got lost. You guys rock.

    Unreal stuff

    by Sticky on 8/28/23

One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Got treated with a dead cover from both Sublime w Rome and Slightly Stoopid, which helped me peak.

    Stoopid’s the Way

    by Newhallz on 8/28/23

I can’t say enough about how good a time we had. The performance was exceptional. The crowd was enthusiastic. The security guards were nice. The food choices could have been better. My wife has celiac. There weren’t really any gluten free options. A hot dog with no Bun is kinda lame. Other than that, it was dope.

    Thought Sublime was headlining

    by Ezra on 8/28/23

On the tickets I purchased, Sublime was listed as the first band, giving the impression that they would be headlining. I was very surprised when the show started and Sublime played before Slightly Stoopid. I wish I had known before hand that Sublime wasn’t the big band of the night.

    Amazing show!!!

    by Jillie on 8/28/23

I prefer to see this band at Leader Bank Pavilion as it's a better venue and more intimate.. however I got 3rd row tickets for this venue last minute and the show did not disappoint. Awesome show. Wish the set times were longer and/or a bit later. Strange for the first band to start at 5.

Soundsystem seemed a bit inferior and mixed poorly. But love this band.

    Food was terrible

    by Sjv on 8/28/23

Ordered chicken tenders and fries mid way through show and when i received food it was cold with mushy fries. Payed alot of money for them and was extremely dissapointed and this isnt the only time ive had bad experience with food here. One time ordered tacos and they were a complete mess and meat was cold as if refrigerated. When i brought it back i was told it was too bad from a manager at that because i ate one of the tacos and she wasnt very nice to me about it.
