Hale storm rocked the house. Followed by Five Finger Death Punch, my all time favorite band. Kick ass concert. Even considering the bands that I didn't really care for. But that's expected with 12 band playing, there will be some that you just don't care for. To each their own.

    Falling in Reverse owned

by Grayrider1970 on 5/13/157 Flags Event Center - Clive

It was great except they had the wrong band headlining. Falling in Reverse blew 5FDP completely away. Ronnie Radtke owns.

    BEST SHOW EVER!!!

by AngelBlue13 on 5/13/157 Flags Event Center - Clive

Everything about the show was amazing! The VIP tickets were the best purchase, loved that we got to see the bands getting ready and the t-shirt and free drinks is always great. I wasn't sure about the venue change but it turned out to be perfect. Could not get a bad seat and I loved being close and not having to deal with a huge crowd pushing and shoving.

Young Guns and Halestorm were awesome! Loved every minute of the show.

The close contact with the band's and the way they interacted with the crowds. All acts rocked the house. Not a bad line up. True rock fans knew these bands.

Artists were great, venue was not

by gr8bec on 5/11/157 Flags Event Center - Clive

This was my fourth Lazerfest, and the first at 7 Flags Event Center. While the venue would be fine for a regular concert, an all day (or even just 8 hours) event was a bad idea to have here. There is NO seating (at least not for those who didn't pay $125 for VIP tickets) . It is just a big open area with a CONCRETE floor. Last year, when it was moved to WF Arena, at least there was seating available. Open air has always been better, especially at Boone. The bands were fantastic, there were no losers on the talent front. Overall, I enjoyed the event, but would like to have it moved back to a single day and an open-air venue.

    Bad ass show

by pintras on 5/11/157 Flags Event Center - Clive

Every band did an amazing show. Hailstorm and 5 finger death punch killed it. One thing I didn't like this year is we couldn't buy lazerfest shirts. I always buy 3 every year. But loved everything about it. Good job lazer 103.3

    LAZERfest 2014!!

Amazing...as always. Even though it was at a different venue, it was still pretty awesome!

    Smart move regarding location

by Anonymous on 6/8/14Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines

Had the event not been moved to downtown Des Moines, the Offspring's set would have been cancelled. It was also nice to sit down in a seat for the last 4 sets. Should the event be held there again, perhaps Vets Auditorium should be used with the outdoor stage during the first part of the concert so there isn't as much wait time between sets. Then later alternate between Vets and Wells Fargo. As much as I hated to miss any bands in the lineup, the decisions of whom to see was easy for me. However, if I had to choose between Machine Head and the Pretty Reckless, I wouldn't have been happy. Chelsea Wolfe did not belong in Lazerfest!!! Green Death should have played instead of her. There was confusion during the lightning delay at noon. I followed a long line into Vets only to come back out into where I was earlier. At least I didn't have to wait in line to leave my parking ramp!

    Schedling conflicts

by FormerIowan on 5/22/14Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines

liked inside/outside option BUT the overlapping play scheduled sucked! waiting between bands isn't necessary if the schedule is offset really wanted to see 2 bands that played at the same time
