    horrible headliners and venue!!!!!!!

by AdamAkers on 5/14/14Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines

It was obvious this was a last minute change. It was a poor set up having it downtown. The bands for the most part were ok. Not impressed with the choice for headliners but on a positive not it allowed me leave two hours earlier. This will be my last one unless they get actual headliners for there "outdoor" event.

    Worth it

Lazerfest was a great concert. Worth the cost and each band was great. Skillet and TFK were out of this world!

    So So

by TweedleD on 5/14/14Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines

Having the event indoors is not the same and not even worth it. The bass was so loud you couldn't hear any vocals. The bands, other than skillet were lame. When you have the even outdoors there's so much more to do and you can listen to the bands while doing other things if you don't care for them much.

    Lazerfest Rocks!

by Imurhuklbry on 5/14/14Wells Fargo Arena - Des Moines

The show started outside and after a couple of groups that appeared to not fit in and didn't want to be there, it got rocking with Powerman 5000 providing the energy building we were craving. J. Roddy Walston was very entertaining, We Came as Romans a pleasant surprise. Thousand Foot Krutch really blew us away with their exciting style hooks and riffs! After Machinehead the party moved inside the arena where The Pretty Reckless, followed by Pop Evil, Adelitas Way brought a lot of energy and sounded great! Theory of a Dead man, Queens of a Stone Age, and the headliner The Offspring were all forgettable. Stealing the show was Skillet, powerful and inviting everyone to join in.
