As a first-time attendee of Lazerfest, it was not well organized and poorly managed. First of all, stick to your schedule. Not being interested in seeing bands until Powerman 5000, I decided to show up when the band was supposed to play and to my dismay they had just finished. I missed a band I wanted to see because the schedule was not kept. If bands cancel, you better have an alternative plan in place to keep the schedule.
Plus, less is more. Having to choose between The Pretty Reckless and Machine Head was terrible. I wanted to see both. Don't advertise you can see all these great bands, and the lineup was very good, if you can't do it. Having eight bands or so play a little longer sets and one at a time in this indoor/outdoor set up is the way to go.
I understand the outoor venue with two stages side by side can allow this big lineup to work without missing anything. Trying to do that at Wells Fargo was a disaster.
Other than that, the Offspring and Skillett were the hits of the show and did a great job.
