I had such a blast at this concert! There was little to no effects; but he interacted w/ the crowd and his voice is amazing LIVE! Totally recommend this concert to anyone that wants to have a good TIME!

The show was amazing. He sounded great. He was so talkative and funny. He seemed to be having a great time too.

This was an awesome show!! It was however, really short. Julian really rocked it though!!

He sounded exactly like the cd and did little to no talking, which I love. Also snuck in a couple of The Stroke songs which was a huge crowd pleaser.

Setlist seemed a little short, even with the encore, but other than that, the band sounded great and Julian was a excellent performer. Would go see again.

Going to the show I wasn't sure what to expect, I love anything strokes related and i've also seen Albert Hammond jr. Julian has figured out how to properly translate the electronic sound of his album into a live show and the music sounds awesome. Although I understand that his album is fairly short I still wish he would have played some more strokes covers, or even other band covers to make the show a little longer.

Best concert I've been to, and I'm 53! Julian is an extremely talented songwriter, performer, singer, musician, etc. One hell of a good show. I always hoped I'd get to see the Strokes, and someday I will. Julian is so talented I hope he keeps performing either with the group or solo. Fantastic!

Great Venue! Located in Old Westport in Kansas City, MO. Wonderful sound! Julian's voice was amazing in this venue.

Jules did not disappoint. It was a really fun, chill performance and one of the best I've ever been to. The opener (Funeral Party) however... not so much.

Great show and great energy...sounds as amazing live as he does on recordings.

I was really excited to see Julian Casablancas because I loved the Strokes and really liked his personal album; however, he seemed completely wasted on stage and kept leaving the stage during the songs. The set was also extremely short. I felt gibbed. I have never been to a concert so bad because the performer didn't care about the audience and he did not seem to want to be singing his songs. I think there were only six songs sung and it was not worth the money I paid.

Opening band sucked! Julian only played for a short time. Crowd was lame. Way overpriced. Overall a very underwhelming concert.

This show was freaking awesome! I can't believe I got so close to him. Anyone who wasn't there, you are regretting it! And to think I almost didn't go : ( Good thing I did!

julian's voice is amazing, but he played.. what.. maybe 6 songs??? no encore. not worth the money i payed. especially since there wasn't even an opening act! i ran into some girls who had come in from chicago, and had seen him play a few days ago there, and he did TWO encores in chicago. apparently julian doesn't like kc enough to give us our money's worth?? sad.

Loved that the show was non-smoking and also benefiting Riley. Julian Casablancas sounded just like the CD tracks and gave a stellar live show; I stood near the front and from my perspective the crowd was very responsive to the performance.

i bout passed out a million times. this show blew my face into six hundred and five pieces. all i know is that santa's sled is on its way to the U S A.
