Great show at a small local venue

by Makinola on 7/23/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

First time at the Sinclair and I couldn't be happier. This was also my first time seeing CSS and they had a great stage presence. Lots of costume changes from the lead singer kept the energy up throughout the show. Not much of a line at the bar (lots of the attendees were on the younger side). The night was very relaxing and fun.

    CSS WAS AMAZING/FRIEKEN INCREDIBLE !!!!

by Ayyyyy on 7/11/13Bowery Ballroom - New York

This is my personal opinion.. Which might be jaded since it was my first concert ever.. I frieken loved this venue.. The small atmosphere made me believe it was just me and a small group of people watching CSS play live. Seriously unforgettable :) Can't begin to describe how much FUN I had.. If I ever hear they're touring around the NYC area I'd have to see them again. I'd also love to come back to the Bowery Ballroom with some other friends the next time. I've got a new wonderful experience waiting for me there.

    Almost a Karaoke

by leo4gzs on 7/11/13Bowery Ballroom - New York

Lovefoxxx gives a good show, she interacts with the audience and keeps this amazing vibe though out the concert, however, the rest of the band left me VERY disappointed. Most of the songs of CSS are quite simple, however almost 90% of the bass lines and probably 50% of keyboards and guitars were pre recorded. If you have 4 "musicians" in front of you, it can't be good to have one of them only drinking beer, the other only clapping while one of them is playing very basic stuff in the synth and the big weight of the show is carried by the drummer (a touring member) and Lovefoxxx. They played mostly songs of the latest album "Planta" and the best moments were their hits from previous albums...

    Unforgettable day!

    by Tom195295 on 7/10/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

Show began with IO Echo whom is in my opinion a poor version of Nine Inch Nails, but then again nobody can outdo Trent Reznor and his band! CSS was amazing, still able to perform and please the crowd even without Adriano Cintra;) Was even lucky enough to get to meet Lovefoxxx and Luiza after the concert :) Which was awesome !

    Fantastic venue

by CheezeLoggyLogg on 7/10/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

Everything about this show was 5-star: the new venue, the staff, the techs, the opening act Io Echo, the headliner CSS (second time seeing them) and lead singer Lovefoxxx, who was kind enough to hang out with fans after the show to chat, sign CDs, and take pictures. Love CSS!

    CSS no bueno!

by cclionfire on 6/27/13Fonda Theatre - Hollywood

Unimpressed by CSS! Sounded like a bunch of noise with no depth to their songs. Lack of overall band cohesion. IO Echo had a better show at Coachella. Their lead singer looked like she might be going through a rough patch? Missed Mr. Mrs. which I regretted. I think they might be the tours saving grace.

by Paradiddle77 on 6/17/13The Fonda Theatre - Hollywood

IO/ECHO was cool, too, but neither was loud enough! TURN IT UP, FONDA!

    CSS

by ThatsMyJam on 10/26/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

CSS is a high energy act. Their concert at the Paradise Rock Club was a funny and fun dance party. The second opener (Men Men? New Men?) had just the right send-off for this Brazilian band that felt like the Latino translation of Marina and the Diamonds.
