JOEY BADA$$ IN CONCERT:
In 2012, Brooklyn-born freestyle prodigy Joey Bada$$ leveled hip-hop fans with his swagger-infused poetry as an opening act on The Smoker’s Club Tour. Just a year later he was headlining his own shows, bringing a polished intensity to his performances that belied his recent arrival on the scene and elicited rave reviews from new followers and concertgoers. Whether he's performing solo or joined by the Pro Era crew, Joey's throwback style and stripped-down approach will continue to hit the mark on his upcoming tour dates.

Discovered as a teenager through a self-made YouTube clip and signed to Cinematic Music Group in 2010, Joey's career has been on the steady up-and-up. After blowing the minds of hip-hop fans in 2012 with his breakthrough solo mixtape 1999, he has maintained a sonic assault of fresh material, including 2013's acclaimed Summer Knights EP. Joey and his Pro Era crew are whip-smart and socially aware but can still throw down and party, and they'll continue to represent the front line of this generation's dialed-in lyricists and beat makers on their upcoming tour.

Finding yourself in 3 mosh pits when you’re over 30 years old is something I don’t recommend, but this show was incredible. Might have been my fourth or fifth Joey show in the last decade, and it really brought me back to first time hearing 1999 Brooklyn Paramount is the venue to beat! Staff handing out waters 10/10
Saw him at the novo last year and it was the best experience ever. Being able to listen to him live made me cry😭😭 10/10 would recommend
Watching him perform from 1999 to his most recent album 2000, it was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been to plenty of concerts before and all I can say this was the best. Hope he gets the recognition he deserves. This man is up there with Jcole and Kendrick.
Joey Bada$$ is a great artist and that is reflected in his performances. He puts a lot of heart into his live show and always brings a great setlist. He has really solid crowd interaction and he actually raps the vast majority of his lyrics. He doesn't simply ad lib over a backing track. He almost always brings out relevant and fun guests which only serve to elevate the experience. Highly recommend.
He delivers with Swagger. Does not just have the song play and jumps around with no live vocals. Actually raps all his verses to perfection. His biggest improvement post-covid was his crowd work and how he engages his audience! Excellent show!

On behalf of Joey performing 2 extra tracks , I’d give a 10 Star review , meet&greet was static wish it could have been longer, but the Overall experience ✅Sacramento has done great job!
Brought the energy the entire show and didn’t slow down. Had the entire venue jumping up and down the entire night and had great song selection. Opened with Survival Tactics and got everyone going crazy and then ended it with Devastated which ended on a high note. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to, I highly recommend.
Absolutely a terrific concert. Joey just brings nothing but good vibes like no other. Other artists and/or rappers don’t really bring the passion thay Joey brings and I wish more people appreciated that. Love you Joey!
