Home Free on Tour
Though Home Free are primarily considered a country group, the quintet's concerts are quite a bit more. First and foremost, they're a vocal act in the a cappella tradition, which means they know how to make five voices sound like a full band even without any instruments on the stage. They pull off this impressive achievement by incorporating lush harmonies, beatboxing and vocal counterpoint that harkens back to doo-wop and barbershop. While recent years have found Home Free moving toward a more country-based sound, with a repertoire that includes the likes of Vince Gill, Blake Shelton and Maren Morris, they also venture into plenty of other areas when they perform live. A cappella versions of tunes made famous by Ed Sheeran, Shakira or The O'Jays are just as likely to enter their performance repertoire.Â
Home Free in Concert
The a cappella phenomenon known as Home Free came into being in Mankato, Minnesota, in 2000 when five young men, including brothers Adam and Chris Rupp, joined their voices together for the first time. Their repertoire was all over the map, including country, pop, soul and rock 'n' roll. The group eventually hit the road hard, and began releasing albums on their own label in 2007 starting with From the Top. But things changed in a big way for Home Free when they won the TV competition show The Sing-Off in 2013. By that time they'd become more country-oriented, and after earning a record deal with Sony/Columbia their albums started regularly entering the upper rungs of country charts. Several personnel changes occurred over the years, the biggest when Chris Rupp departed in 2016, but in their current incarnation Home Free still bring the a cappella magic to the stage every time.

Home free put on a awesome show from start to finish loved it
Home Free was so great that weâre making plans to see them again đ¤Š
We felt that there should have been more singing and less talking during the concert. We also felt that more country songs should have been played. We left early as the concert was not what we were expecting.
Parking was easy and great location. Loved the theatre, with many option for merchandise, snacks, adult drinks, and restrooms. Seat were ok for comfort, and the sound was great in this set up. The concert was great! Loved the whole experience.
A wonderful concert. Home Free members have so much talent and it was so fun. They know how to engage the audience. So glad we were able to attend.
Great concert, seats were good not to close together considering they were folding chairs. Venue was good, itâs been awhile since we have been there, still the same as we remember.
Awesome group will go see them again. My group love the show first time any of had saw them live
It was the best, great serves i liked that people where there to show me to my seat, when home free started it was awesome and it was a great experience and i had fun, Tim was funny when they were talking to the crowd and it was laughable, i would go again if i could.
Getting to the venue, everything went as planned. No problems getting to our seats. Unfortunately, the stage lights where very bright at times so taking pictures didn't happen. Home Free did not sing as much as they have at previous concerts. A little disappointed!
