Colin James Tickets

Small club; surprised by small audience. V good opening acts. Colin James put on an amazing two hour show. Rock and roll. Music dating back 30 years and looking forward to next album in the fall. Saw Colin in late '23 in Calgary; great show then, better more intimate show now. Again, amazing show at Peppermint Club. Took some newcomers and Colin left with some new fans. Cannot say enough about music. Colin and band were fantastic. Even got to reminisce with him a bit about hometown Regina SK Canada. Cannot wait to see him again.

My ears are still hurting. First two bands were obnoxiously loud so when Colin James came on just after 9 my ears were ringing and it was difficult to appreciate James artistry. I’ve seen Colin James 6 times before. Peppermint Club is too small so there is no need for 45 speakers (exaggeration I know but it certainly sounded like that). Also I would NOT recommend paying for a table. The minute the bands start playing people jump up and immediately stand in front of all the tables. There is zero advantage to paying for a table.

I get reminded every time I step into The Commodore Ballroom why its my favourite venue. It doesn't matter where you are inside, the sound is always amazing. Throw in Colin James and The Little Big Band and you have a winning combination. The classic venue and the awesome music kinda brings you back into the era of the big bands to which Colin and his team nailed. My first time at the Venue was my NDSS graduation party back in 1985 and have seen many performances since. It was another memorable night with Colin James.

Colin James sounds as hot as he did 30 years ago. His voice is timeless! He had just as much range and energy as ever, and his big band was totally on point. It was a fantastic evening. The only thing that was frustrating was the sound mixing. There was way too much bass, and we couldn’t hear the solos from the big band. The saxophones, trumpet and trombone were barely audible because of the club-esque mix job. Otherwise, the concert was exceptional, and I would definitely see this again!

Colin James and the Little Big Band performed an amazing show highlighting Vancouver product musicians. A little disappointed on the Reserved Seating issue that the Commodore has now implemented, just another cash grab. Much nicer when you could sit and share the experience with our concert goers at the large tables they have now removed for standing room only.

Loved he brought back so many original members of the Little Big Band. The Commodore is such a great venue and they were in full swing mode. Had a great time. Thank you Colin James.

If you are a Colin James fan his big band concert version is a must see event. All of his shows are great but these ones take it to another level.

Great concert! A lot of old people though (like me). Colin has a great band and they never fail to entertain!

I have seen Colin and band mates many times over the last 30 years! Never disappointed. The music is always top notch. I love that he always seems to be enjoying the music as much as we are!

The venue was amazing adding to an incredible show. With this being my 27th time seeing him live, I can say he never disappoints. Can't wait for the next show!
