Colin James is just amazing and has been one of my favorite artists since I was a youngin'. If you've never seen him live, do! The acoustic tour was great because it show-cased his amazing guitar skills and his love for the music in a more intimate setting. Chris Caddell was a great asset and I will be downloading his music shortly. He was humble and friendly and also a great guitarist. They both signed autographs after the show and talked with fans. The theater was small but a nice amount of people and the staff there was very friendly. Overall, it was definitely worth the trip over the border for me!
It poured rain,, got soaked to the bone. Had front row seats. Concert was too short, only one and a half hours long.
Yet another fabulous concert from Colin James!!!!!
We traveled from Buffalo, USA to see the show in Hamilton. It was fantastic! I love Colin and have many of his cd's, but after seeing him perform live, I love him that much more! We will be looking for another venue to see him in soon. He puts on an incredible show, his band was excellent and the music is even better live than on the cd's. He plays everything you want to hear and more. What an amazing artist, the voice, the guitar, the personality, amazing! He is surely one of Canada's National treasures! Lucky you! Am so glad we live close to the border and can enjoy seeing top notch Canadian artists live.
100% Pure Canadian Talent! Seventh time we've seen him live and he gives you all the energy and excitement of the very first time. He and his guitars become one and the music just reverberates through you with each strum of the notes.
Non stop playing, got the crowd into it (singing along), The band totally meshed together Colin is a Guitar picking blues phenom, Eventially he will have the same statis as SRV Satriani, Malmsteen, B.B. King as a guitar picker. The show was every bit worth the money, easily I would pay $100 bucks to see him again.
ranged from his past hits to new album songs with wide selection and excellent band backup. really enjoyed instrumental segments.
I don't like the Big Band stuff that Colin James does, so when I heard he was coming to play his new stuff and old I bought tix right away. Anyhow he played a lot of blues Wed. night but to my surprise I loved the show. I also loved it when he played the Into the Mystic. I'd go see him again!
