    Exceptional time had by all!

by NewRedStarsFan on 9/16/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

This is one of those DO NOT MISS events! Took our U-11 girls soccer team and their parents to the Red Stars playoff game at Toyota Park. The players are not only exceptional athletes (including some World Cup winners!), but they are also very, very generous with their time and spend about 45-60 minutes after the game signing autographs for all the kids! On the way home, the kids in the car were chanting the Red Stars songs, talking about how cool this player was vs that, and saying "this was the best day EVER!". And all for $20 per ticket, with free parking in a world class, brand new soccer stadium! You just can't beat it if you're even a little bit into soccer and live in the Chicagoland area!

The game was awesome! We bought general admission tickets and were there early enough to get seats second row from the field.

Park Plans Poorly - Fans Suffer

by MaryPP on 9/9/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

Normally, I love going to Toyota Park, but when the temperature is 93 and the venue is less than 1/2 full and most of those seats general admission, you would think the half of the stadium with shade would be open. Unfortunately, the park officials only opened the 1/2 of the stadium with seats in full sun. The players were clearly affected by the heat too. Their play was less than full-on. The park finally started letting people move to the shady seats at half time, but they only opened one section and there were over 6 sections of people in the sun. By that time we had reached our heat limit and decided to head home and follow the game online. It ended in a 1 - 1 tie. We agreed we did not miss much. Park officials really fell down this time. We've sat through some really harsh weather for soccer matches, but sitting in the stifling heat while seats in the shade were right across from us and empty was just too much for this day.

    Great game but too hot

    by Wild4soccer on 9/9/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

I loved the game itself and was glad that the refs had 20 minutes periods as it was so hot the day we went. The only reason I gave the event 4 stars is that the park should have allowed people to sit in the shade at 4 p.m. when we arrived and not wait until 5 p.m.

Had a great time! The players were the BEST... I even won one of the twenty raffle prizes (BIG TEN Prize Pack - Over $100 worth of gifts). The match was fantastic. Got to meet some USWNT/Canada players and take photos and get autographs... One player even took off her shoes autographed and gave them fans. Gotta love women's soccer!

    Good Game

    by Jerry0513 on 9/9/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

This was a good game. Women's soccer is exciting - the ladies play very well. A number of players on the field were on the Woman's US National Team and Johnston and Press, who scored Chicago's goal are two of the players. Recommend going to these games - only wish that they were concerned about our comfort and placed in the shaded part.

    Red Stars Fans

by TheatreDad on 9/9/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

This would be our 3rd time Attending a Red Star game this year, First time held in the Venue of Toyota Park. Still coming off the excitement of the U.S. Womens Soccer win of the World Cup, it was fun to bring my family to see them play for there Respective teams. Soccer is something we have our children involved with. An inspiration in particular for my daughter as well.

    Fun Day at Toyota Park

by WisconsinKaren on 9/9/15TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

We have never been to Toyota Park or watched a Women's soccer game live. We had a great time and my daughters got some autographs after the game from some of their role models. We were hot but there was plenty of cold beverages available. Maybe the only thing I would recommend is on hot days like that opening up the other side of the field earlier so people can get out of the sun.

This was our 1st women's professional soccer event. It was present for my youngest daughter's birthday. It is a day she will never forget. Women athlete's ROCK! I was amazed at the speed, agility and determination the Chicago Red Star's exhibited! Megan and Natalie were especially enjoyable to watch. Do or Die Chicago Red Stars! Congratulations of the final win of the season!

    A great time!

by Anonymous on 7/29/10TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

First time I'd been to Toyota Park. It was beautiful and very easy to get to. Parking was reasonable and close. The game was tremendous fun, although it would have been better if Chicago had won. Still, I'd recommend a Red Stars game to anyone; just don't forget sunscreen!

Came to se AC Milan; the WPS game was decent, too

    by leekatt53 on 6/1/10TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

I probably would not have attended this WPS game if not for being able to see the AC Milan training session, as well. The game itself was pretty good. The players really went all out and showed good skills and creativity. I guess my only disappointment as a fan is that neither team was able to generate many real threats on goal. The one goal was excellently played, but it was really the only test either keeper faced (due to misplaced shots when someone finally got into position). I'm not from the Chicago area, but I would go to another game if I'm there when the Red Stars play.

    Toyota Park garbage

by Anonymous on 5/30/10TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

A large majority of the people came to Toyota Park for A.C. Milan practice. Their was many disappointed children at the practice. They didn't let the players autograph anything and Ronaldinho only signed for 10 mins mostly a photo opt. for publicity. This could have been scheduled so much better. Also I found out that they had a signing opt. at an Adidas store, this was never mentioned, because no one would have bought ticket to the red star game. I have an extremely disappointed kid, that only started playing soccer because of Ronaldinho and he couldn't get his jersey sign.

    Chicago Red Stars are awesome!!

    by delish33 on 5/18/10TOYOTA PARK - Bridgeview

I love watching soccer! I love watching women's soccer because I am on a women's soccer league! The women are more aggressive, I think, at going for the soccer ball than the men! This makes for a more action packed game! The Toyota park soccer field is awesome! I would love to be able to play on that field!
